Beyond my expectations. My husband and I recently took a trip to Las Vegas and decided to visit Elegant Linens based upon a recommendation by a friend in the area. As we entered, we were greeted warmly by a woman who identified herself as the owner. I confess to being ignorant about thread counts and Egyptian cottons, but the owner patiently explained the difference in manufacturing and spent alot of time showing us different linens she felt we might like once she determined our preferences. The only difficulty I experienced was limiting my choices. I could have ordered from the internet, but I personally benefitted from discussing the care and varying quality of the linens. Also, to touch and see the material helped me to get a better idea of how the merchandise would look and feel in my bedroom. And it does look and feel sumptious. Thanks for all of your help- we are delighted with our purchase!
Rude owner!!!. I went into this store to purchase some linen for my master bedroom as we've just built a large new house. The sales rep was very nice on my first visit and said he would give me a 10% discount if I bought the duvet cover and bedskirt and possibly larger discount if I bought more. I explained that I have 5 bedrooms to furnish and was interested in buying linens for all the bedrooms. I went back into the store the next week to make my purchase and the owner was there with the rep. First of all, she didn't even acknowledge me at all, didn't look up at me, etc. The sales rep started ringing things up and looked at her to confirm he could give me a 10% discount. She was very abrupt and didn't look at me (she was 3 feet away from me) but said "NO!" I walked out and ordered online where the company gave me a 20% discount and free shipping, no sales tax, and shipped already. Since that time I've talked to several people who said "That owner is so rude - I quit going to that store because of her!"
I need to start by saying that the quality of the linens at this store are quite impressive for a Las Vegas bed and bath store.
If you choose to shop here CHECK YOUR RECEIPT AND TOTAL PRIOR TO SIGNATURE! The owner of the store offered me 70% off of one of the items I was looking at on the clearance rack. I was instantly sold on her generosity and knew where I was going to go for my custom bedding for my new bed in a few months.
A couple of days later I was reviewing my receipt and realized I had been overcharged by nearly $250. Assuming it was a simple mistake I called the store. The owner was not present so I explained the error to the sales rep that was present at the time of my sale. He apologized for the mistake and told me I would be credited back within a couple of days.
Over a week had passed and I had not heard back nor seen my credit. I called and spoke to the owner who denied the price that was quoted to me and offered to credit me 10% as an apology. In the next breath she started quoting me prices for custom bedding that she was investigating for me. I will not ever make the mistake of supporting this business again. I love the finer things in life; but I will not support a woman who feels it is appropriate to ring her customers up at a higher price than offered.
