Faster than other Internet Provider. Clear seems noticeably faster than our Earthlink DSL, and the connection has been completely reliable so far. Earthlink's connection had been failing to recognize our computers every time, finally the connection went away entirely, and then the company wanted us to pay for shipping and to commit to one year more of service to replace a faulty modem. I had been their customer for more than 14 years. I'm very pleased with Clear so far, and we get way more phone features than we did with AT&T, and for $14 less a month.

Cancelled my Clear. I just canceled my Clear service for the same reasons that Lani mentions. Since I work on the Internet all day, I CAN’T lose internet when a butterfly passes by. And I’m supposedly surrounded by two towers.

Lani: I called EVERY DAY and complained about my speed until they finally let me out of my contract.

Remain the Same. I am pretty satisfied with Clear internet service and I am hoping it will remain the same as more and more users hook on to the network but even if it does not it will take quite some time for the network to be overloaded or clogged.

faster. Clear internet service is awesome for mobile internet if you like to take your laptop around town and get internet anywhere. For home it is pretty good, but not as fast as cable or fiber. It is probably 5-10x faster than mobile internet through Verizon, Qwest, or Sprint though.

internet being throttled. I’ve been a clearwire user for almost two years, thank god it’s almost over, HORRIBLE service, and of course you gotta love yur internet being throttled….wow I love that feature.

It’s never ever gone down for me. I just think it’s super fast. It’s never ever gone down for me…so far it’s been a great savings for us as well because we don’t have to have the home phone. We’re saving about probably $40 a month.

Money is not worth for CLEAR. Clear Internet sux major a$$ it's not worth it. The internet connection is off more than not. I hate it you can be right in the middle of something online and it just shuts off. I am a big COD: Modern Warfare 2 player and everytime I'm winning it just shuts off. Again it's not connected more often than it is connected. Do not waste your time or money I'm heading back to Time Warner ASAP.

Thanks. I got a hanger on my door yesterday about this new service in my area. So far I can only get Comcast, which, as we all know is exceedingly expensive. The Clear service is $30 a month, and I'm getting sick of using the internet around here. It doesn't really play videos, and my phone won't connect to it. But that's neither here nor there.

So I'm thinking about signing up for it, but the only thing clear about this service is the name.

It's been hard for me to find any sort of fine print on their flier, or even their website. Reviews of service in the Portland area are even harder to come by. Which makes sense because it's a relatively new service.

Does anyone here use Clear? Is it worth it? Does it do what they say it does?
