Great restaurant for Indian Cuisine!. I don't normally eat at buffets for all the usual reasons. But, I had a craving for Indian food at lunch time and Namaste was just a short distance away so... Wow! Great food, beautifully presented, clean, lovely atmosphere. Shall I continue? No, go there yourself and enjoy a wonderful meal. Ignore the rundown shopping center. Namaste is a jewel. Yum! Now, it's time for a nap.
Namaste Indian Cuisine las Vegas.
We could not be more impressed the food was fantastic we had Lamb vindaloo and Karahi Chicken and the vegetable dish Baigan barta, Spicy shrimp Xacutti and Paneer naan and Basmati rice was a excellent accompaniment. The lamb was cooked in just the right way, tender and not over done the chicken came in strips and tasted wonderful. The service was excellent and not overstated.
All in all we enjoyed the evening and to top it off the bill was very reasonable considering the quality. We will be back here again. Well done.
I highly Recommend Namaste Indian Cuisine.. This restaurant was recommended by an Indian friend who raves about the food here-- our experience surpassed already high expectations. Waiters very knowledgeable of menu. Service was truly great. Lamb chops are recommended. Chicken tika masala is the speciality. Loved my nav ratan korma, mixed veggies with garlic Naan bread.
First elegant Indian cuisine.. First elegant Indian restaurant where the speciality is meat-rich Indian cuisine. Starting with buffet that includes tandoori chicken, flavored korma curry and great vegetable dishes including chana masala, spiced garbanzo and spinach panneer. They are serving the best chardonnay and wines as well.
Superb dinner!. The place is located far from our house but we somehow end up going there anyways. The great food and beautiful decor keep us coming back. Superb dinner! 5-star to Namaste
Namaste offers unique and reasonable Indian cuisine. Namaste offers well-prepared Indian food at reasonable prices in a comfortable contemporary setting with the right amount of spices. The tandoor produces not only the usual chicken, kebabs and puffy breads, but also such specialties as fish tikka and shrimp. Chefs make the chutneys---coconut, cilantro and pickled vegetable---fresh daily. Curries include a pepper-lamb hinting of saffron and prawns with a delicate accent of coconut. There are vegetarian choices, too best is malai koftas. Mango lassi is one of the refreshing desserts and drink.
Inexpensive lunch buffet. Large buffet. I sampled the pakora, Indian pickles, raita, tamarind and mint sauces, fresh naan, basmati rice, chicken and lamb curries, saag, sambar and gajar halwa. We have never dined at an Indian buffet in Las Vegas, but it did not compare well to the ones we frequent in Connecticut
Best Indian Food. I have been to this place many times now. Both for the lunch buffet and dinner. The lunch buffet was quite nice and reasonable priced. The place gets totally transformed at the night. Very nice ambiance and the food was also really nice. Turns into romantic cozy Indian place at night which was pretty good. You must try chicken curry it was just amazing. I had garlic naan with the chicken. It was light and fluffy, and delightfully garlicky without being overpowering. The waiters were quite helpful as well. They recommended their special rogan Josh which was simply awesome. In all a very nice place , must try for all the Indian food lovers.
Great reviews for good Reason. This near Downtown/just off strip Las Vegas Indian restaurant is one of the best in Las Vegas. Many selections not seen in most Indian restaurants. The food is remarkable. Their tandoor chicken is something most Americans have not had. It's does not come as a red dyed dish, instead it's green, and not from food coloring. Spices fill the body and soul in each dish. Try something new, it's all good. The place is clean, some interesting art on the wall, the Indian inspired music leans more toward a contemporary, almost hip, slant. The staff is super helpful and friendly. A welcome addition to an already good Commercial Center culinary scene, Thai, Japanese, Korean, Mexican, and now INDIAN!
Blessed with great food!.
At first glance, I almost would have passed them by as yet another restaurant near Sahara . Metaphorically of course. Kicked in the face with the aroma of a slew of Indian spices, right when I opened the door. Looking closer though, they have some innovative products like sev puri which you cannot see in other Indian restaurants.
Sketchy neighborhood aside, this may very well be my new favorite restaurant. We went on a Sunday night--there was plenty of business, but we didn't have to wait for a table. It's not a fancy restaurant (although it looked pretty clean and spiffy to me), but the smell of the food knocks you flat and proceeds to permeate your entire being, until you smell like curry and MAGIC.
I asked for medium to hot on the spicy scale Lamb chops and medium chicken tikka masala and I could not have asked for it to be more accurate. It was absolutely delicious.
