Very POOR customer service .. Prices are very high compare to other places , i walked in last week i had to wait 10minutes for someone to come out and help me, the guy name Gary was rude , i did not answer my questions properly ..... bad customer service ,, and the place smells really nasty they can use a bit of air freshener.... I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL.
Long time Rio Tan Customer. First of all, I originally signed up at Rio Tan in 1995 off Flamingo and Decatur. I have tried tanning at other places in the almost 16 year time frame, but nowhere else matches up. The place is open really late, til 3 in the morning. The place is always clean! Alot of places you go you can see the dust and dirt caked on all the shelves and beds and chairs, just absolutely gross. Another thing that always annoyed me was when I'd go somewhere and there'd be some silly looking orangish/reddish looking 16 year old girl behind the counter who could never answer my questions or get off the phone long enough to care. Thats NEVER happened at Rio Tan. The staff is very knowledgeable, they help when I need help, and never make me feel like I'm burdening them. I've met Gary, the owner, on many occasions over the years at most of the different stores I've visited of theirs. He is very friendly and accessible. Overall, this place gets my highest recommendations. You can look but you will not find a better selection of tanning beds, you won't find cleaner facilities, and you won't find friendlier more knowledgeable guys working anywhere else. Don't waste your time like I did a few times and just go there and experience the place for yourself.

I SIGNED UP FOR A 3 MONTH CONTRACT, THEN 2 WEEKS LATER I FOUND OUT I HAD SKIN CANCER. THE OWNER STAN WOULD NOT CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP EVEN AFTER I TOLD HIM MY DOCTOR TOLD ME IT MAKE ME VERY SICK. HE HAS CONTINUED TO CHARGE ME $99 FOR THE LAST 3 MONTHS AND I HAD ONLY GONE TO TAN 2 TIMES.
WITH TIMES ARE THEY ARE $300 IS ALOT OF MONEY TO SPEND FOR 2 TANNING SESSIONS.
Im sorry to hear about your bad experience with the salon you're referring to, however the location you have commented on has no affiliation with this salon whatsoever. would you please be kind enough to amend your review or remove it completely since it doesn't actually pertain to this location or even Rio Tan in general. The owner of this location is Gary and we are on West Charleston directly across from the Red Rock Station. Come in and see us if you're ever in the area!
