In Short – Those looking for a quality Mediterranean menu at an affordable price should give Cafe Deia a try. Inspired by the village of Deia on the island of Majorca, this white tablecloth find is a quiet, dim lit, somewhat romantic spot to share hot or cold tapas plates ($4-$10) or the chicken or vegetable paella. Deia also offers four soups--French onion, gazpacho, mallorcan and a special soup de jour--along with thin crust pizzas and hamburgers.

I met a group of friends this past Friday at Cafe Deia
to catch up. We all ordered tapas to share around the table, and everything was delicious. It's the perfect restaurant to visit with girl friends. The atmosphere is welcoming and the food is delicious!! We just happened to be there while they were running a low calorie cocktail promo for the night! We ordered a pitcher of the D*Lyte Mojito and the
Veev a tyku Passion. SOO Good! i would go back just for the drinks!
- Pros: Great variety, well seasoned beef, cocktails by the pitcher
- Cons: I can't complain!
A great taste of the mediterranean
by casiafurrer
Our first course was the figs wrapped in bacon. It was an amazingly tasty combination. The artichoke toast was perfectly acidic and nicely seasoned. My husband had the philly cheese steak. He said the steak was very nicely seasoned, and paired with a well aged cheese and a spicy dipping sause made it a unique flavor. I had the beef gyro. The beef was strongly seasoned, the cabbage was marinated in something sweet and quite a good match together. The sweet potato fried were lightly topped with powdered sugar and wen very well with the spicy dipping sauce.
Finally, the service was excellent, very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was romantic and intimate. Prices were great too. I would definitely rate this restaurant highly.
- Pros: amazing bacon wrapped figs
- Cons: none
Very good tapas

Cafe Deia is a welcome addition to the ever growing number of tapas restaurants serving the Las Vegas market. We started off Baba Gandoush ? baked eggplant pureed with olive oil and lemon juice and served with warm pita bread (3.5 Forks out of a possible). We next ordered Shrimp a la Diabla ? marinated shrimp sauteed with garlic, red pepper and white wine, spicy and delicious, and bacon wrapped figs. (4.5 Forks for each) Our last order was spinach stuffed mushrooms topped with bechamel sauce and Swiss cheese (3.5 Forks) and Classic Paella ? saffron rice mixed with black mussels, shrimp, calamari, peas and carrots. (4.5 Forks) Service was very attentive and knowledgeable.
- Pros: Very good tapas, affordable

The mallorcan soup is described as "the only soup you can eat with a fork." They're not lying.
