BBQ done right!!!!! Ask mayor GOODMAN!!. In the turmoil of these economic times there shines a beacon. Adam's Ribs promises to be "affordable to the bone" and delivers. The Baby-backs are so tender the bones fall right out. The sweet potato fries are like candy. The spicy BBQ sauce, pops with intense flavor and just enough heat to leave any afficionado asking for more. If at the Grand Canyon location be sure to wink at your server and give them puppy dog eyes, then ask for the fried pickles because they are not on the menu but are delectable. We were surprised by the cozy atmosphere and the attention form these guys. Adam must be very proud. Mayor Goodman's endorsement on the menu is well deserved. Thanks for the comfort food it hits the spot without denting your finances.
Over Priced and Over Rated. We visited the Maryland Parkway location and were VERY disappointed. Started with the fried pickles which were ok. I had the 1/2 chicken and 1/2 ribs, the chicken was fair, lacking any bbq sauce, the ribs were tasteless and dry(like they had been cooked a few days earlier and re-heated), also had the potatoe salad which was spoiled and sent back and replaced with beans. My friend had the rib tasting platter, which also had no taste and very dry. They didnt even smell appealing when they were brought to the table. Also had 2 beers and a coke for a hefty $50 bill. Would never reccomend this place or return even for a free meal. Check out the casino on Koval Lane for some good ribs and chicken for 1/2 the price!!
Backyard-style barbecue at a price everyone can afford..
In Short
From the man who brought you the Freakin' Frog comes a simple, down-home, no-frills BBQ joint. Here, Adam Carmer concentrates on perfecting the rib, even offering a rib tasting for those not sure on whether they want the baby back, spare ribs or other offerings. Appetizers include chili fries, chicken wings and barbecue nachos, and non-rib lovers can enjoy salmon or a 16-ounce blackened Angus rib eye. And in true Vegas fashion, there is even a dish that pays homage to The King: a fried peanut butter, jelly honey and banana sandwich for the die-hard Elvis fan.
