Overpriced. We were told when we made our reservations that they probably wouldn?t be necessary which proved to true. There was a free concert on the green that evening so the terrace was full, but the dining room was empty with the exception of one other table. The restaurant itself is beautiful, but I doubt if the overhead expenses are covered except on weekends.

The waitress asked if we wanted guacamole with our chips and we responded affirmatively. The guacamole was very good and we were amazed that it was complimentary since other restaurants charge $6-10 per order. The restaurant serves both traditional Tex-Mex dishes and ?fresh? seafood entrees. We each chose the ?fresh? halibut in spinach cream sauce which was accompanied by chipotle mashed potatoes, green beans and carrots. The halibut was overcooked and I was surprised, but shouldn?t have been, to find a $6 charge for the guacamole included on our bill

Horrible Service!. I called to make a reservation and use a gift certificate when the manager refuse to accept it. She then argued with me for about 20 minutes and called me all kinds of names. Not professional at all!!! Will NEVER go to the restaurant and neither should you.

This colorful cantina in the MonteLago square is a South of the Border escape. Diners can cozy up to the bar and watch the game, pull up a seat at an indoor table or get fresh air on one of two patios-the lower has a fire pit, the upper a great view. Sonrisa serves Mexican meals with tacos, burritos, fajitas, enchiladas and chimichangas with a choice of shredded beef, chicken, pork, prawns, salmon or halibut. There are also vegetarian offerings, a kid's menu and entrees that include a filet mignon, BBQ baby back ribs or Chilean sea bass.
