Wonderful Doctor/Peson

Dr. Golden is an excellent doctor. I was diagnosed w/ issues that were pretty extreme and needed help fast. He was compasionate, caring, and jumped to action immediately. I'd been telling another Dr. for 2 years that something wasn't right and was given the attention, until things went extremely bad.

I'm alive due to the fast action and thinking of this wonderful doctor and will be one of his patients as long as he is here in Las Vegas and practicing.

Dr Golen removed my Rt Kidney.

My situation is a little rare but I found out in March that my right kidney had no blood flow in it and it was basically dead. I saw 3 other specialist before I saw Dr Golden and all 3 told me to leave my kidney in and not have it removed that it was a congenital issue. In August I saw Dr. Golden because I was having some back pain. The minute I met with him he made me feel so comfortable. He recommended I remove my kidney right away due to being high risk for infection. The 2 weeks before my surgery I woke up in the middle of the night in the worst pain of my life. My husband rushed me to the ER and they told me my kidney was infected. They put a catheter in the kidney to drain it to relieve the pain. The day after this procedure they sent me home until my sugery. The next day my hospital doctor called me to tell me my blood was infected from the infection and I had to go back to the hospital right away to be admitted. I stayed in the hospital another 5 days because the infection was so bad. I finally got to have my surgery the following week. I wish I had met with Dr. Golden sooner because I wouldnt of had to go thru all of this pain. He is the sweetest doctor have ever had the chance of meeting. He took the best care of me, and made me and my family feel very comfortable! I would highly recommend Dr Golden to anyone who has kidney problems. He has the best bedside manner!

Dr.Golden Saved Most of my kidney - No Dialysis for me!

This note is my thanks to Dr. Golden for saving most of my left kidney.

My story is a little unusual, since I had already lost my right kidney to cancer in 2002. That whole kidney was removed in a traditional operation through a long “shark bite” that was awfully painful and took several months to recover from. Recently my doctor found a new tumor in my left kidney (the only one I have left!). I was scared I would need this kidney removed, then be hooked up to a dialysis machine for the rest of my life.

The urologist who took out my right kidney years ago recommended Dr. Brian Golden. My primary doctor rated Dr. Golden as “EXCELLENT” which of course influenced my decision, but the deciding moments were when I actually met and discussed my case with Dr. G. He showed me my CAT scan and the tumor. He described the operation using the da Vinci robot (robotic partial nephrectomy) and showed me how much of my kidney could be saved. He had a very reassuring bedside manner, was confident (but not arrogant), and answered all my questions. He made me feel comfortable that I’d found the right surgeon for my terrifying situation.

The surgery went great! MY KIDNEY WAS WORKING JUST AS WELL AFTER SURGERY as beforehand. The few little incisions weren’t very painful and I was out of the hospital in just a day and a half. When I saw Dr. Golden after surgery, he said the pathology report said all the cancer was removed. My primary care doctor was absolutely amazed at my speedy recovery and the difference in my incisions for the right and left kidney operations!

IF YOU HAVE KIDNEY CANCER, GO SEE DR. GOLDEN. I’M EXTREMELY HAPPY AND THANKFUL THAT I DID. NO DIALYSIS FOR ME! Yeah!!
