Editorial Review for Dos Caminos Las Vegas – by Ryan Slattery
In Short
Dos Caminos has a more modern look than most Mexican restaurants. The 700-seat space uses rich woods, earth tones and curvy design to create a relaxing atmosphere and pumping music fuels the high-energy vibe. The menu, however, sticks to classic Mexican fare. Tacos are made with either chicken, fish, steak or pork and the fresh sides of guacamole comes made-to-order. Hearty meals include the lamb shank barbacoa, roasted chicken enchiladas with mole poblano and salsa verde and a Chilean sea bass veracruzano. If your not bursting at the seams by the end of the meal, order up the flan, the Mexican banana split or the white and dark chocolate fondue.

My husband and I always seach out the best mexican food when we travl. Dos Caminos rates very high on our list. The guacamole was great - fresh herbs and tomatoes! We also had pork tacos and the tuna tostados. Both were delightful. Although the margaritas are expensive, we really enjoyed them. We will definately return on our next visit to Vegas!

Had high expectations but really, it was just "alright." I get better guacamole at my neighborhood carniceria (that's meat market for you non-Spanish speakers:) The prickly pear margarita was strong and tasty but overpriced, just like everything else on the menu. Don't order the shrimp quesadilla or ceviche sampler plate. It was empty on a Thursday during lunch and service was quick and timely. Honestly though, I think this place is overrated.
Pros: Great decor
Cons: Over priced
