In Short – Dos Caminos has a more modern look than most Mexican restaurants. The 700-seat space uses rich woods, earth tones and curvy design to create a relaxing atmosphere and pumping music fuels the high-energy vibe. The menu, however, sticks to classic Mexican fare. Tacos are made with either chicken, fish, steak or pork and the fresh sides of guacamole comes made-to-order. Hearty meals include the lamb shank barbacoa, roasted chicken enchiladas with mole poblano and salsa verde and a Chilean sea bass veracruzano. If your not bursting at the seams by the end of the meal, order…
Don't go unless you want to pay a lot for bad food
by lasvegasgirl2009
We went the other night with 12 people. The music was so loud that you could only talk to the person next to you and we had to say "What?" a lot. I ordered a salad and you would think you couldn't screw that up but they did. The sangria was horrible. No one liked their food except for one person who ordered the skirt steak. The food is way overpriced. And the servers didn't smile.
The bathroom was the highlight of the restaurant. It is circular and beautiful.
If you want great southewestern gourment food, try Yolo's at Planet Hollywood. Much better food and cocktails, better service, better prices. The chef is from Tao's.
- Pros: Close enough to walk to the V Bar at The Venetian
- Cons: Too loud and the food is not good except for the guac.
Tableside Guac!
by Nealeo24
Eaten at this place a multitude of times in NYC. Love the tableside guac and chips. The food is pretty standard not the best bit not the worst. A very consistent fare. The drinks are nice and I can finally get a decent marg on the rocks. Great atmosphere with the rest of the package keeps me coming back. Great place to take visiters esp those who have never been. Will continue to frequent.
Awesome mexican
by mjd66
My husband and I always seach out the best mexican food when we travl. Dos Caminos rates very high on our list. The guacamole was great - fresh herbs and tomatoes! We also had pork tacos and the tuna tostados. Both were delightful. Although the margaritas are expensive, we really enjoyed them. We will definately return on our next visit to Vegas!
