"Why don't you just go buy a vent cleaning kit?". Our dryer wasn't venting - so I called and made an appointment with Mr. Appliance. The receptionist that answered sounded like she was at some sort of call center - said a local booking rep would call me back when they were available. Local rep called back about 4 hours later - set up an appointment to have our dryer looked at. I got a follow up call the evening before my appointment that gave me a solid two hour window - which was nice.

The "repair man" arrived at my house an hour before the scheduled time - which was fine as I had taken the entire day off. I told him what I told the receptionist - that I thought our dry vent needed cleaning out. He just looked at me and said "Look - why don't I cancel this call and you can call a vent cleaning company or buy a kit and do it yourself". What?

I asked "so you don't clean vents?" - he said "no, we don't have the specialised equipment to do that". Really???? I have a vent cleaning guy doing it right now - with no extra tools...

Thanks for nothing Mr. Appliance! You don't even deserve one star....

Honest and Reliable. My dryer wasn't heating so I called Mr. Appliance for service. I was impressed with them from the moment I spoke with them. The girl who answered the phone was professional and very pleasant to talk to. She actually sounded like she cared that I couldn't dry my sheets. She offered me an appointment for the next day. The service man came out. He drove a nice van that had their information on it and wore a neat looking uniform. When he got to my door he put a mat down and then even put little booties on his shoes before he came into the house. I've never experienced that. I can't count the times that I have had to clean up after different service professionals have come into my home and tracked up my floor with their nasty work shoes. He looked at my dryer and found that the problem was not with my dryer but that I had a plugged vent. He told me that he could take care of that for a nominal charge and I agreed. He completely took my dryer apart and removed all of the lint inside it. I had no idea that there could be so much lint that would collect in there. Then he changed the hose from the back of the dryer to the wall and cleaned the vent in the wall completely out. He had this all done within a half an hour. My dryer now heats and works like a dream. I will use them again without hesitation!

Clean, Professioal, and Quick. I needed to have my dryer fixed there was not heat.ing I called Mr. Appliance they came out next day. I was going to get a new one, but they came out and fixed it right away. The man that fixed it was nice and "clean" uniform(I allways get the messy repairmen).The price was fair and they even gave me tips on keeping my dishwasher working good. I was happy w/service and will tell others about them. They even gave me free ticket to the local home show. Good people to work with :)
