Head elsewhere for firsh & chips. I was surprised how small this pub was, but additional seating is available on the outside patio. Even though there was a concert scheduled for later in the evening, pedestrian traffic was minimal on the street this evening. We each ordered fish and chips; the former was heavily battered and the latter was from the freezer case. I was expecting better based on comments I have read.

The interior of the Auld Dubliner was handcrafted in Dublin, shipped to the U.S. and then assembled in MonteLago Village on Lake Las Vegas, only adding to the authenticity of the tavern. With its dark wooden floors, low beamed ceiling and "cozy cottage" pub feel, the spot offers plenty of nooks and crannies to cram into for a pint and a bite. The menu combines time-honored pub grub with traditional Irish dishes. Appetizers include spicy potatoes and a ploughman's platter overflowing with cheeses and meats selected by the head chef, while the shepherd's pie boxy, corned beef and cabbage, black-and-tan battered Atlantic cod and potato leek soup are the standard fare. Steaks, burgers and sandwiches and wraps are also available.
