Best jananese Steakhouse in Las Vegas. I have been here a number of times and every time has been a pleasure. The staff is polite and the food is incredible. Try it out.

Avoid at all costs!. Don't be fooled by the website this restaurant runs. This is a trashy strip mall restaurant. The interior looks filthy ... much like a Japanese "greasy spoon". We made a reservation for 8pm and arrived only to find they had no record of our reservation, though we had called just minutes before we arrived.

Then they tried to sit us on the dining room side instead of the cooking table we had requested. The slant-eyed that worked the hostess table didn't care one way or the other if we stayed or not. This place is the trashiest place I've ever stepped into in Vegas.

Believe the negative review below. I didn't since there were so many praising the food, but it isn't worth it to test the food. And after looking at the restaurant I wonder how many people later had food poisoning. Disgusting surroundings. Our cab driver that picked us up after we walked out and over to Ruth's Chris recommended Hamada's or Osaka's. I will take his recommendation next visit to Vegas.

One of the WORST dining experiences of my life!. I'm a Vegas local that eats out 4-5 times a week and when I find a place I like I become a repeat customer. I came in late last night to try your Teppan Table.

The food was good, but the experience was completely ruined by some RUDE guy talking on the phone ALL through the ENTIRE dinner running his limo business from your Teppan Table talking about how some women threw up in his limo, then his wife has to go into the details of the of the woman throwing up, while I and my date are trying to enjoy the dinner.

I would have just gotten up and left if I had not been so hungry and I should have. Handling RUDE OBNOXIOUS customers is not my responsibility it's the Chef/Owner's responsibility and I do not know of one other restaurant that would have allowed that type of behavior at the table. It appears that the RUDE man and the Chef/Owner are friends. But the Chef/Owner should have enough respect for his other 8 customers to ask the man to please go away from the table or outside. Or the man could have used text messaging.

On top of that The chef looked right at me and asked if I wanted garlic on the mushrooms and then when they were done gave them to someone else. WTF? What kind of head fake is that. He also ask my date if she wanted garlic sauce but never asked me and looked surprised when I thought I should have gotten some and he had to make more.

Not to mention that my filet was about half of 2/3 the size of the other one he cooked. And for some reason it was cooked in garlic and mine was not (it would be nice of you let us know of the cooking options.) You know if you want to make repeat customers you need to clue them in on what's going on and make them feel welcome and KEEP RUDE PEOPLE FROM talking and running their businesses all through dinner. Thanks for the wonderful quiet Birthday Dinner I was looking for!

PS:It was so bad I really should call my credit card company and complain, maybe I will.

The best japanese Steakhouse in Vegas by far!. This place Rocks. It has a great location- very close to the strip. A great staff. This restaraunt is divided into 2 sides. The first side has a sushi bar and tables and booths. The other side has open grills where the chefs cook in front of you and put on a great show. Our chef was named Tiger. He made us a meal we will never forget. Do not miss out on this place. You willl regret it if you do.

Wonderful service and superior food, top notch experiences everytime. Absolutely the best tasting food and friendliest service I?ve ever experienced. The owner/chef used to be the head chef at Hamada in The Flamingo. We were so impressed with him, those many years ago, that we followed him to his own enterprise. He makes everyone, from all ages and walks of life, feel comfortable, involved in the cooking and invited. You?ll see late night crowd, but you?d still feel fine to bring in your grandmother (we did.) It?s also nice to see the actual owner so involved in the day to day operations, including the cooking. It?s really his attitude that makes this place such a special restaurant. He?ll stop and chat with you, if they aren?t too busy, and your food has already been cooked. The food is absolutely top notch. The chef makes a lot of his own special sauces. Even the dinner salad has an apple dressing, instead of the usual ginger or sesame. I?ve had chicken, shrimp, steak and scallops; all are great! It?s much better than the standard teppan experience, with much better food and more interaction. It?s a way above average experience, even if you?ve been to a lot of teppan grills. I recommend asking your chef if he has any ?special? sauces for you to try. They are always testing new stuff, and it?s always great. After tasting the food here, you will wish you had more room in your stomach. I highly recommend the Japanese Lasagna and the Buddha roll, if you like sushi (although both are baked, not raw.) The whole restaurant is a very comfortable setting, and we look forward to it, everytime we visit Vegas. I can sincerely say that this place consistantly delievers the best dining experience ever. I cannot recommend this place enough. It's a masterpiece in every way. The prices are moderate. I usually end up spending less than I thought I would, even though they seem high when I look at them. What more can you say about a restaurant with excellent service and the best food this side of the Pacific? Try it, you won't be disappointed.

Happiness......Aaaaah sooo DELICIOUS!. I'm very happy! Sushi around the strip has been declining for years and I finally found a place that has it all...freshness, taste, diversity, presentation, atmosphere, service, and the price. My friends told me about how great their teppanyaki was, so I actually went there for teppanyaki, but it was completely filled up. So, my friends and I decided to get down on some sushi. It was really delicious, they have an extended menu for sushi so it was overwhelming, but after we ordered a couple items, it was like clockwork, we went to town. I was really impressed with how fresh everything is and how everything is really tasty. We had 8-9 different rolls and all had it's own different delicious sauces that came on it or on the side. Try their wasabi creamy sauce on some salmon sashimi, it's to die for. I'm very impressed with how much different sauces they have, but none of them are overpowering, just enhancing perfectly. I used to go to this sushi bar across the Hard Rock and all they put on every roll was the eel sauce, it made every different roll taste exactly the same. I dug the 99% roll and the GRAND FINALE! My friends and I all agreed that the GRAND FINALE is probably the best roll that we all have ever had. I'm glad that the teppanyaki room was full and that we had a chance to put away some sushi! Well, I feel really comfortable here and plan on visiting more often, it's going to be my new spot. Hope to see you there!

amazing. This is one of the best kept secrets in Vegas. Service is great, food is amazing, prices are extremely low for the amout of food your getting, and the place is always very noticeably clean.

wonderful!. We ate here for lunch today for the first time and everything was wonderful! We really had a great time. They have tepanyaki table service at lunch! (which is hard to find) It was very entertaining and the food was delicious. The triple x roll is especially good. The service is very friendly and attentive. We felt this was a great value in terms of quality food and generous portions at a reasonable price. We took home enough leftovers to have a yummy late-night snack... Will definitely return!

CHECK YOUR BILL. We decided to give Musashi a try given the great reviews and late night happy hour, but we were disappointed. They were out of most of the sushi apps we wanted-no baby yellowtail, uni, grilled octopus salad to name a few. Given it was tSunday of Memorial Day weekend we tried to be understanding- must have been a busy weekend. We had to inquire about happy hour, as they made no mention nor introduced anything of the menu/specials. Waiter finally brought us happy hour menus. Since they were out of so many apps, decided to do tepanaki. Son wanted to do the shabu shabu but that option inot avail at tepanaki bar. Too bad they hadn't reviewed the options prior to seating. Our chef (bro of owner) was friendly, talented and probabaly the best part of the meal. We're doing the "low carb" thing, all ordered extra veggies in lieu of rice. Food good, but a somewhat nice experience turned sour when we got the bill. There were no less than 6+ "Open Food" items listed on the bill (ie no explanation of charge), plus we had been charged for several sushi items they were out of! We'd had several sakitinis and belive they rely on tipsy guests not checking their bill. I reviewed the bill with the gentleman at register, he wanted no part of it and called waitress over. She proceeded to immediately delete the sushi items. When I inq about the "Open Food" I was informed that a total of $34 had been charged for "extra veggies"! When I said that no mention of an added charge for veggies in lieu of rice was made she started to argue talking through the gentleman at the register - she did not want to deal with me directly. I piped in that I refused to pay $34 for a few extra onions/mushrooms and zucchini-the gentleman at register advised her to remove it ,she did reluctantly with no apology - just walked away. All told our $346 bill came down to $264...imagine if we'd let our tipsy, vacation mood overlook checking the bill. Shady, dishonest, rude and WE WON'T BE BACK!!
