The Best Kept Sushi Secret in Vegas.
I'm originally from Los Angeles where we have some of the best sushi in the U.S. and I miss it because I no longer live there. Las Vegas is full of sushi bars on the Strip where view and trendiest exact a hefty price and quality and freshness take the back seat. Sen is far away from all of that. It's a decent drive- maybe 15 minutes away from the Strip but what a difference the trip makes. Authentic to the T and incredibly fresh. Old school traditional as well. If you like every silly spicy mango coulis roll under the sun this is less your place. If you like the freshest most authentic fish presented simply, this is your oasis in Vegas.

Editorial Review.
Flashy Vegas eatery, Sen of Japan, is a hit with late night clubgoers and foodies alike.

Best Japanese food in Vegas.
I have to eat here at least once every two weeks. The staff is very courteous and knowledgeable. Hours are great-- they're often open until 2am. I love going late at night so I can have the sushi chefs all to myself. :) The menu has both classic and modern dishes, and every dish is comprised of fresh ingredients and is well-seasoned. As with any decent sushi restaurant, the prices are a little steep, but it's worth it-- and still a better deal than many of the more popular Japanese places on the strip. Sen of Japan is one of my favorite restaurants in Vegas!
