NURSING ASSISTANT STUDENT. I am a nursing assistant student with school loans well for the fall semester I got back just enough money to put a down payment on a car. I went to baja auto sells thinking that they could help me and Doug was so nice and eager to help that he showed me this Red Dodge Durango I didn't notice was that he was in such a hurry to get rid of it. There was a light on and he did say they would replace it and put my last 2000 dollars on the car and drove it of the lot. well two days later my brakes started making sounds and they told me there was just dust on the brakes and they would be fine.Thinking I could get my two special needs kids and my child that has asthma back and forth to their doctors appointments and be able to go to and from school with no problems. Well just after three months the car started to make an awful sound in the tire and after talking to them trying to convince them that I needed a better car and for them to please help me out. They said no it was no longer there problem and that all they could do is send it to repair and they could fix it of course as long as I paid the bill. Well it broke down and I called them talked to the service manager he told me I should tow it there and that I would have to pay for the towing myself. I use my towing service that my insurance provides and tow the dodge durango there they wouldn't call me back and after two days of waiting I called them and ask what was going on with the car he said oh I will call you back. He called back this time only to inform me that it was the universal shaft and it would be about 350 dollars to fix that part and then he would check the front wheel drive and he would get back to me and tell me how much that would be. I called the sales manager to talk to him and informed him about what was going on and for him to help me out I had just bought the car 3 months ago and something this big shouldn't had happen. His responds was well I can do anything about it and what do you expect me to do. What is it tha you want do you expect us to pay it all or what I said no just help me out. I also begged and told him I am a mother of five teenage boys to with mild mental retardation, two with learning dissabillities, and one with Asthma please I need a car to get them back and fourth to there doctors appointments and get myself to school please. I also am on a fix income right know his responds was again not my problem lady everyone right know is on a fix income what do you expect me to do. So please if you read this don't buy a car from them stay away from them or else you will be like me no car no money for a new one and paying for it for the next twenty years sends I use my student loan to put the down payment and right back where I started no car.

Junk cars & junk service. Baja Auto sales over on Fremont is the worst. i wish I would of known than what I know now. These people will polish a piece of crap and call it a luxury vehicle.. After test driving 6 cars that all had engine problems, I test drove a Ford Taurus. its drove just fine. Cant say that there were any engine issues. However, we could here that the car had some brake issues.. I settle on this car with the agreement that they would fix the brakes. I returned the next day to pick the car up and the brakes were the same. They set me an appointment for the next Week to come in and have the brakes done. The technician tried to tell me that I was the cause, because supposedly i had been driving with the emergency brake on (yeah right)... As I explained to the jack ass that the problem & sound existed before I left the lot, he told me that they would replace the drums on the car if I paid for them.. Excuse me NICK!? Why would i do this when ERNIE and DOUG assured me that the brakes would be fixed before I returned to pick up the car.. I ended up getting into an all out argument with NICK in the service department.. The worst thing for a person/business to do is to try and under mind a customer. Im am no FOOL, far from it. So trying to tell me that I messed the brakes up by driving with the emergency brake on, is just asinine.. I was born at night, not last night. So the preexisting issue with the brakes, BAJA never fixed. I took my complaint to the BBB, and Fox news the rant. Not only that, but my family and friends told everyone they knew about there bad business.. I would NEVER return there, nor would I ever recommend a friend.. BAJA AUTO SUCKS!!! BAD BUSINESS< BAD SERVICE!!!

scammers!!! Switched loan to lease!. The same thing happened to my fiance and I...These people should be put out of business! DO NOT DO BUSSINESS HERE you will be ripped off! I am an intelligent person. I went into Baja and bought (or so I thought) a 1999 BMW Z3 last year. The car was listed for just under $11,000. I put a down payment of $6,000 cash on the car and they were trying to get me to pay $475 a month for two years ($11,400) on top of my down of $6,000. When I told them to take a long walk off a short pier, they told me they would give it to me for two years at $375 ($9,000) plus my $6,000 down I was willing to do it. I know they are providing credit when no one else would so I was willing to pay the $4,000+ for the interest. Well my fiancé and I bought the car in her name because I am in a Chapter 13 bankruptcy and cannot take a loan right now. I made the mistake of letting my fiancé deal with the paperwork and went to work. What I did not know was that they suckered her into a lease agreement and at the end of the two year contract we had to pay an additional $1,200 (so they got me for what they wanted anyway but disguised it with lower payments and a hidden fee at the end of the two years). I did nott realize this until I wanted to pay the car off a year early after getting a bonus at work, so that we could buy another car for my fiancé. Not only will I NEVER do BUSSINESS with these scam artists again, but I will do everything humanly possible to spread the word and expose these criminals for who they are! They are worse than payday loan companies and they need to be regulated so that they can stop taking advantage of people that may not be in the best of situations. I have nothing against a company that wants to make a buck, but paying in excess of $16,000 for a one year loan (with more than 50% down) on a vehicle is highway robbery!!!

These guys are fair.. I can't stand shopping for cars. I was looking at all of the car dealers on Fremont St. when I saw Baja Autos. They were friendly and l bought a car from them. That said, they clearly want your business. I insisted that the radio be fixed, and they have repair and service on site.

As far as buying a car, this was as painless as can be expected.

Ripped off in Las Vegas. RUN! dont walk away from baja auto sales, aztec auto sales, eddies, finance auto sales, adams auto rental, adams auto sales, all fictious firms, according to clark county, owned by Nidal Merhi and the general manager, Douglas Diaz . I am twenty years old and I have no credit record. I went to vegas to by my first car and ended up at aztec auto sales. They tried pushing me into cars I didnt like but ended up finding one I did like. In the end they switched the contract on me to a lease contract not a buyers contract which I wanted to BUY the car. They charged me for a rental fee a final buyers fee and after i signed the contarct they told me that i had to register it in Vegas which upon arrival I related to the salesman that I lived in Arizona. They told me that all they needed was a Vegas address and said that it was not illiegal to do so. I also had to insure the car in Vegas as well which they did NOT tell me that. On the way back to Kingman AZ, the brakes malfunctions and I was in fear for my life. We replaced the brakes in Kingman. I thought I had signed a purchase contract until my father looked at the contract in Kingman and said it was a lease contract. We called Douglas to talk about the contract to see if he would change the contract to a buyers contract and fix this mess but he was not very nice about it and told us that he wasn't changing anything about the contract. We called a lawyer and he told us to take the car back and drop it off which we did and now he wants to change things but still wants to charge me for it. At this point we are in the process of notifying baja of our intentions to notify the Attorney Generals Office and DMV if the injustice isn't rectified

Baja is truly the best !!!!!. I'm a single mother on one income and two children with alot of bills......... I went to several dealerships and I was turned down... Someone recommended for me to go check out Baja Auto sales. They were so nice.....Especially Doug Diaz the store manager... They truly lifted my spirits. When I thought I had no where else to go they helped me get into a car that I could afford. ALso they said if I make my monthly payments in time they would report my activity to the credit bureau. I appreciate everything they have done...... I'm rebuilding my credit and I'm happy with my car........

DO YOUR HOMEWORK. Attention all customers! I purchaased an extended warranty from "Thrifty" and "Thrifty" was great....i will miss them. Baja on the other hand tried to tell my wife the new repairs were not coverded by our extended warranty. "Thrifty" sales explained everything to us and made us aware of all circumctances so we knew we were covered. PLEASE FOLLOW THE FOLLOWING STEPS:

1) Call the Warranty company that covers you.

2) Dont belive the company you deal with is the only company you can deal with for the repairs. Our warranty company let us know we can deal with ANY licensed dealership shop. Also is we felt uncomfortable with Baja we could take our car if they havent made ANY repairs.

3) Baja previously told us "THEY" only could do the repairs and we belived them untill this problem occured and we are happy it did because we had to do some footwork and if you lie to us once you will lie to us twice. Since we had to do some footwork we found out I can take my car to a customer friendly and reputible shop for our repairs. Remember if you dont want to be TAKEN DO YOUR HOMEWORK. WARRANTIES DO WORK AND ALL IT TAKES IS A PHONE CALL. PLEASE HELP YOUR FRIENDS KNOW AND FAMILY. They just need to learn through managment HONESTY especialy through these Time$ and Customer Service ... You would of kept our business if you didnt cross the deception line.

Real Inhouse Financing...Thank You. I was being turned down everywhere when I saw an add for Baja Auto Sales on craigslist. They promised they can get me financed regardless of my credit.

Made an appointment, showed up there, and a couple of hours later I drove off in my new vehicle. They treated me like a human when everyone else kept telling me or options. Managment and staff were real professional I highly recomend this dealer especially if your being turned around everywhere else.
