Disappointed & not satisfied!

I went to this place through a groupon for a TCA peel ($150 value). They asked me if I ever got this kind of treatment before. I told them I haven't and that I only had a facial & a microdermabrasion before. They called me in the treatment room after waited for 20 minutes and the whole treatment is only 15 minutes. Basically, she just put on my face with some lotion, wiped it with warm towel, wiped my face with a cotton ball that has an alcohol on it. Then she put on some other lotion that supposed to be the chemical peel that give it a burn (tingling) sensation which it did a little bit, then she wiped it right away with the warm towel (no waiting period to make it work like when you have a facial mask). During the whole treatment, she just kept offering me to buy their products or to get more their services. When finished, I still see some lines in my forehead and tiny acnes still there. I didn't feel or see anything different on my skin. Isn't this peel is an aggressive peel to smooth the appearance of deeper lines in the skin? Well, it surprised me that the $150 value of treatment just took only 15 minutes to do it and there is no peeling or massaging going on there.. Really disappointed and never..ever.. going back there again.

Disappointed

I found this place through a groupon type deal for a stone massage. I went on my birthday. My appointment was rescheduled twice by them- the evening before my appointment I received a text message asking if my massage could be pushed back for an hour later. Then when I was on my way to the salon I received a call stating the appointment was pushed back again about 30 minutes.

The stone massage wasn't pleasant at all. The therapist was dropping stones, clinging them together, and sounded like raking through them which was noisy and not a relaxing atmosphere. There was a part with warm towels placed on the feet which was very nice. Then I hear the towel being thrown over my head- one landed in the sink and the other plopped to the floor along the side of me.

The cd player wasn't on a continous play so the therapist stopped in the middle of the massage about 3 times to restart the cd.

When it was time to get dressed that was when I noticed how dirty the floor was and their equipment was.

When it was time to pay the girl at the front desk was not sure how to ring up the massage. She asked me how she should ring me up. She was waiting for the manicurist to help. I was now running late for a hair appointment.

The manicurist was sitting on the floor giving a pedicure. I wasn't sure if this was a friend or a client of the manicurists because it didn't see professional in anyway.

I was trying to make the best of it. It was my birthday and it had been an extremely long time since I had a massage. I am just happy that I did not pay full price otherwise I would have been very upset. I would never go back there again.

Overall A Very Enjoyable Experience

I was looking for a affordable tanning salon and found this spa. The price is reasonable and the beds are effective.

I enjoy the staff and receptionist very much.

After tanning for a few weeks I decided to try a few of their other services :Mani, Pedi , and a body wrap all were very enjoyable and I would recommend to anyone :)

DO NOT GO HERE!!!

I came in to inquire about thier services and the young women behind the counter had not a clue. I don't think she could tell you what state she was living in little lone anything about the spa. I'm not sure what the owners were thinking hiring that peice of work- but shes gotta go! The prices seemed decent and the inside looked nice. Could have had my busniess if it wasn't for the COMPLETE lack of people skills from the front associate!

Caribbean Day Spa 15% Upcharges when use Spa Finder Coupons

Dissatisfied with the Day spa. They charged 15% more for services because Spa Finder coupons were used to pay for services. These are pre-paid coupons used to get people to try their Salon. They would not have had the opportunity to serve some clientele if they did not accept the coupons. They should be accepted at face value or else refuse to accept them at all.

• Cons: When used Spa Finder coupons they charged 15% more than list
