Best Italian Restaurant

This was one of the best Italian restaurants I've ever been to. It's definitely not for somebody who is looking for a discount Italian restaurant, but WELL worth the money. The view was great as well, but I care more about the food than anything else and the food was great. Get the veal and the octopus. You won't regret it : ).

One of the best in Vegas!

I went here last weekend during my trip to Vegas with some friends, and this place was unbelievable. First of all, the service was prompt and so incredibly friendly. Erica, our waitress, and Heidi, the bartender, were so incredibly warm and friendly (not to mention cute!) They took care of everything and made sure we had a great time, they were so much fun. The food was exquisite, I have been to Italy and this was comparable to some of those restaurants. Everything was prepared carefully, and the sauces and vegetables tasted so very fresh. We also had their special expresso with Bailey's shot, which was great. The portions will fill you up so don't eat too much before! All in all, a great meal, and for a restaurant of this caliber at the Palms in Vegas, pricing isn't bad. And it's located right under Moon and the Playboy Club, which if you have guestlist and enough ladies in your party, you can get into directly from the restaurant. I very highly recomend it.

Nove Ristorante

Nove is absolutely phenominal. Having had the opportunity to dine in some of the finest restaurants in Italy, I must say that Nove is the real deal. I wholeheartedly disagree with the negative comments made by other reviewers. I have dined at nove about nine times and have enjoyed the experience with all of the waiters. Yes, the food is pricey, but this is Las Vegas. What do you expect to pay at a restaurant 51 stories high, with breathtaking views of the strip and some of the best food around. My only issue was with the woman who identified herself as the Wine Director (Liz ?) and attempted to assist us with a winelist that she seemed to be so completely unfamiliar with.

Sommelier Christian Margesson created an Italian-based wine list filled with Barolos, Barbarescos, Chiantis and Brunellos --all housed in the restaurant's wine room. A few California varietals are offered.
Look Good:
Follow your dinner with a night out at the Playboy Club or Moon and you can access the clubs via a private elevator.
Fun Fact:
Nove means "nine" in Italian and the Roman numeral for nine is engraved in each chair back.
