The Scene
Sapporo's electric blue lighting and colorful water wall behind the sushi bar bathes the room in a warm glow. Add a Top 40 soundtrack, an outdoor patio and fine sushi and you have a winner. There are several dining-style and seating options here from the sushi bar to the tappan grill.
The Food
The sushi here is superb and reasonably priced. The appetizer sampler is a good start. The Mongolian BBQ ribs fell off the bone and were the star of this trio as the coconut chicken skewers and stuffed shrimp were a bit too bland. The BBQ eggrolls also needed a kick of spice. The Australian lamb chops entree is a total indulgence. The tender chops are intertwined and piled on the roasted red pepper garlic mashed potatoes. Save room for dessert because the crispy, sugary cinnamon bananas Foster spring roll had a wow factor and the exotic bomba, sorbet nestled in white chocolate cups, rewarded my sweet tooth.

We've gone to Sapporo SEVERAL times and always had a great experience. Whether you're going to hang out at the bar/lounge and meet people or sit down at the restaurant...the food has never been dissappointing and the drinks are great. They have a fantastic happy hour that's always fun with great specials!

im a regular at sapporo and they are by far one of the best sushi places to eat here in summerlin. im writing this in regards to chris o's birthday LONG comment. your upset over a 50 dollar girt card that you left in a restaurant at 2 in the morning. did you honestly think it would be safe and sound waiting for you to pick it up the next day?! come on chris. also your upset that the manager didnt say happy birthday to you....how childish are you? im sure if the manager did you would have complained about how they were mocking you when you found out YOU lost your giftcard. Sapporo is great. the service is good, food is great. oh and chris...50 dollars at nordstrom buys you tube socks.

So many people in Vegas think this is a cool place to hang. But truth be told, the service is terrrible and they could care less if you enjoy your experience there. My last time there (and it will be my last) was for my friend's birthday. We had a lot to drink and she left a birthday card with a 50 dollar gift card at the table at closing time. We called 15 minutes after leaving and they claimed to not be able to find it.....lets face it, they stole it. Something like this is really crappy...if they can steal from customers, I shutter to think what they do to the food people pay for and eat. None of the 20 people who were there will ever go back...and honestly, why hang there when you live in vegas anyway!
