I was just in Vegas for Memorial Day weekend with my girlfriend, and we stopped by Tix4Tonight to find some deals. They’ve expanded a lot since we were last in town; I remember seeing about four a few years ago, but this time I counted about 10 lining The Strip.
We got great deals on two tickets to Penn and Teller and dinner at The Voodoo Lounge; we saved over $100, and didn't have to drive all over town through nasty Strip traffic because the show and restaurant are both at The Rio.
If you want to find discount tickets to one of the more popular shows, your best bet is to get in line first thing in the morning (preferably before they open). As a word of warning, be advised that they don’t have every show on sale everyday… but they come pretty close. Also, the booths advertise that they sell “half price show tickets,” but that’s not strictly true in every case… some of the shows are the full 50% off, while a few of the premium shows seem like they’re available for more like 30% off the full box office price. My Penn and Teller tickets were about 40% off, but for my money they put on the best show in Vegas, so 40% off Penn and Teller tickets was a great deal in my book.
The staff is bullish about selling you on their dinner deals, and I’m generally suspicious of any sort of upsell, but they really do offer great discounts from all kinds of restaurants on The Strip and in Downtown. Booking my dinner reservations through Tix4Tonight saved us over $35 on our check (and I ate better than I would have otherwise).
Torture. Do NOT use! Tickets are not half price, some times they are more expensive than tickets at the actual show box office! Customer service is disgustingly bad and they try and up-sell you on half a dozen restaurants and services when all you want is tickets. No satisfaction guarantee! Purchase tickets at show box office, where there are no hidden fees, up-sells and some times much better deals!
I LOVE these guys!.
OK, everytime we come to Vegas we find one of these Tix4Tonight booths beccause we wind up saving soooo much money. Show tickets and dinner, and nine times out of ten we save at a restaurant close to the show we're going to. Though once my friend wanted to try RM Seafood which wasn't anywhere near our show but still. Food there was so good I couldn't complain!
Recommend, recommend, recommend!
don't but tix anywhere else. Don't buy tix or eat out without first checking one of the 12 locations. they release the days tix that morning. attraction tix available as well, wax museum etc.... don't pay full price for any shows or meals, buffets at up to 1/2 off restaurant coupons, discounts at hotels buffets etc.
Editorial Review. Offers daily discount tickets for same-day Vegas shows, attractions and dinners.
Great location, best inventory of shows. This is one of 4 locations operated by Tix4Tonight and the most convenient for those staying on the north Strip or with a vehicle. The trailer is in a parking lot located across the streete from the now defunct Stardust and within easy waling distance from the Riviera. Tix4Tonight has the largest inventory of shows of the 2 discounters now operating in Las Vegas. You can print off a coupon from their website that reduces the service free by $2 for each ticket purchased. Note: Cirque and other top quality shows are rarely discounted and then by much less that 50%.
