Hated it!. Not worth it. Way overpriced for some moderate bar food. Plus, the bartender was rude. Skip it.

Best service in town.. I first went to the Fireside about 6-8 months ago for lunch. As a woman eating by myself, I felt very comfortable. The bartender introduced himself and asked if I "minded" if he asked my name in such a friendly, unthreatening manner that I knew I had found my new favorite hang-out. That first time I had the grilled ham and brie sandwich - a flavorful, mature take on a childhood favorite. My husband and I have been going to Fireside AT LEAST once a week since that first lunch and we have yet to be disappointed with the service or the food. He is not a drinker, and that often seems to irritate other bartenders, but at Fireside, they keep him refilled with a smile! The fact that they serve the full menu until midnight is also a great plus, since we often eat late. Finally, the wine menu is reasonably priced and very impressive for a local bar, including Silver Oak, Cain, and Stag's Leap.

Bad complementary drink policy. Great food, nice atmosphere. Bar staff unfriendly. Put a $20. bill in the bar top machine. Much to my surprise I was charged for my drink! When I inquired why, I was told that you must play full-out and not just a few coins at a time. Whether it takes 5 minutes or 15 minutes, sooner or later, they will get the $20. The bartender stated that the "bar" has to be careful that some people only put a few coins in, get a drink and then cash out. We were neatly dressed and had also ordered a meal. To suggest that we were in need of a free glass of wine was insulting. We have never been to any bar or restaurant that told us how much we needed to play in a machine. Regardless of the food, we won't return. Rule of thumb, you never know who people are or who they work for! When you have a bad experience, people tend to tell at least 10 more.

Waste of money. I was very disappointed mainly with the staff. the restaurant itself is very nice looking , different from most. my experience with the chef steve was one that cost them my business. he was rude and very condesending. chef lee was better but still did not treat my concerns in a manner that was professional or courteous. very expensive and just not a good experience at all.
