Fantastic Doctor. Dr Averilla works at the Umc primary care and was telling me about her spa and I was wowed. This woman is incredible! IF you want an honest, loving doctor, look no further. I appreciate her time she spent with me. and she has real before and after pictures of certain procedures that i also appreciate. She does free consultations unlike other spas, i recommend this spa to anyone

Great Medical Spa. Love this place! Staff is extremely friendly, professional and knowledgeable. They have a very calming and inviting atmosphere. I came here just for a gift certificate and ended up getting some facials done myself. The doctor is wonderful as well

I LOVE Dr. Averilla!. I love Dr. Averilla. I think she is absolutely amazing and is educated and loves what she does. She only uses FDA approved equipment and she is so knowledgeable about what she is doing. She explains it all and shows you step by step what she's going to be doing. I have been to other medical spas in the Vegas area but she is definitely the best. And plus she is a doctor, not an esthetician with no medical training like some places out here. She also does injections and juvederm. I highly suggest you go in for a free consultation at least! or look at their website lybms com

ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS!!!. Please think twice before you go here. It is not whatsoever spa like and the doctor is very pushy. To make a long story short, my face is very scarred from her procedure and it has been over a month since I was last there. I have to now seek treatment from a dermatologist but my face is permanently scarred. I almost had to sue in order to get a partial refund and I am about to turn her into the board in which she is licensed because her products, equipment and techniques are not up to par. She tried to blame me and make excuses for how my face looks. Please do not go here!! I wish I could post pictures of my face to prove how horrible this place is....

Las Vegas' best medical spa with great prices. I came here originally inquiring about laser hair, and I thought it was going to cost a fortune. It cost me half than what I expected.. I couldn't help but ask about other services and I ended up getting a facial, massage laser hair and botox in the same week. The doctor is SOO nice and veerryy honest :) I just moved here and was very glad to come by here. i found my spa!

clear skin. I have problems with acne and skin pigmentation.

Dr. Averilla recommended wonderful, effective Bell Derm products like the cleanser, lotion and cell turnover treatment. I have very sensitive skin and this products are just effective and very gentle. I had microdermabrasion done, very reasonable, my skin feels and looks so much better.

Good Results. I am very satisfied with the results of my laser hair removal, and microdermabrasion. I've been doing this regularly for the last 3 years and the results are amazing. Very reasonable and Dr. Averilla is very professional, she gives great recommendations and advices, the staff are very friendly and courteousand their products are one of a kind. They dont take advantage of their patients.Very trust worthy practice

MedSpa cleared my face up!. I have been coming to this spa for almost 5 yrs now for fillers for my lips, micros & laser acne, laser hair removal on my lip and chin and I am in disbelief that there are such comments about the doctor on here! She is far from rude!!! Dr Averilla is GREAT and she is very sincere and honest. She has never done poor work nor overpriced me for ANYTHING. The spa is definitely "spa like in appearance and ambiance" and I'm almost 100% sure all her clients agree because I have also overheard people tell her it smells wonderful there. Sure does! And I have recommended all my friends to go there for the hair removal because ITS CHEAP AND WORKS!!! She explains everything beforehand and walks you through the procedure. I know for a fact she's knowledgeable with what she's doing, I mean hello!! I did say I was going there for 5 years right? And as a medical student I trust her and know i'm in the right place. Thanks Dr. Averilla! DO NOT listen to the negative comments on here because people are not happy with how they look! Anyone else who goes there knows they're in good hands. Keep up the good work!!!!!!!!!!

Do NOT go there!. I've had my share of microdermabrasion treatments, but since this place was offering a good deal, I decided to drive accross town to give them a try. My husband tagged along wanting a laser hair removal service on the back as well.

Let me say, the place is not spa-like neither in appearance or ambiance. Dr. Averilla does not do thorough micros. She only does one scarce pass what should be all over the face, claiming she doesn't need to because it's "medical grade".

Sorry but been there, done that.

Then she puts the peel on for five seconds and neutralized it immediately, because it's "medical grade" once again.

Then, testing her good judgement I asked her for a quote on fillers and confirmed my suspicion. She informed me that I'd need about 4 injections on my nasolabial fold at $500 a pop. I had gotten quotes within that same week at three different med spas and all told me that I'd need 1 injection at the most. HERE COMES THE MONEY!!!

My $95 treatment lasted ten minutes from walking into the room to walking out to the lobby.

Then when I expressed my discontent to Nelson,her accountant sitting in the front desk about the thoroughness of the procedure, he replied that they weren't miracle workers, in a rude and aggressive tone.

Ooh, I almost forgot about my husbands laser hair removal treatment. The treatment took fifteen mins., was zapped with the laser in 3-4 inch increments, when it should overlap every 3/4-1 inch increments, and then charged $600 for a single treatment. At that pace he's going to need about fifty treatments instead of the 6-8 he's been quoted at three different medical spas.

It seems that they want to make up for their prices by administering low-quality treatments so that you'll need to come back for more.

So please reconsider when spending your money. I know they'll take it without regret.

Highly recommended facials - will be doing this more often!. This was my first time with Catherine for a facial, and she was very thorough and took her time clearing up most of the blemishes on my face. I could see a noticeable difference in skin clarity after the session! She also gives an amazing neck and shoulder massage. The ambiance of the room itself is not very spa-like, but for the quality of the service she provides, it is WELL worth the money. I am definitely planning to go back for a once a month maintenance.
