Stay Away. Took my family in for dinner last night. Service was horrible. After I placed our order it took 30 minutes for the soup to get to the table and when it did my son found a dead cockroach in his bowl. When I questioned them about it they had no answer. Needless to say I walked out. STAY AWAY. My next call is to the health dept.
Excellent, family rstaurant. I've been to this wonderful, informal restaurant with family and friends a dozen times in the past year. That's how good it is. The food is consistently served hot and tasty, and the prices are extremely reasonable. I really like their egg foo young, moo shoo pork and sweet and sour chicken.
SAVE YOUR MONEY, NOT WORTH THE POOR SERVICE OR THE VOMMITING THE NEXT DAY. MY EXPERIENCE WAS HORRIBLE! I CALLED TO ORDER THE ORANGE CHICKEN SPECIAL. I REQUESTED THAT THE ORANGE CHICKEN NOT BE MADE HARD LIKE IT USUALLY IS. THE GUY THEN GOT REALLY DEFENSIVE "THAT'S NOT HOW I COOK, YOU NEED IT LIKE I MAKE IT"!, I ASKED THE GENTLEMEN TO CALM DOWN AND LET ME EXPLAIN WHAT I WAS REQUESTING, HE THEN SAID "NO, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE"!. WOW! I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED SERVICE LIKE THIS, EVER! I AM NOT A PICKY PERSON I DONT ASK FOR MUCH, BUT THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE A "HIGH QUALITY PLACE" AND THEY'RE FOOD IS HORRIBLE AND THEY'RE SERVICE IS EVEN WORSE!~
Excellent Chinese Food At A Great Price. Well first of all I want to thank all of you for your wonderful reviews. After visiting this site, last Friday I went to Baidu for dinner. First of all, the quality of the food was fantastic. Baidu served white meat chicken and only the highest quality meet and seafood. Second, the service was great. The waitress was extremely attentive and gave us a number of suggestions that were spot on. Moreover, because it was our first time there, the cook/owner came out and talked to us about the food and wanted to make sure we enjoyed our meal. Finally, the prices were very reasonable. At PF Changes we usually spend between $80 and $100 for dinner, but we ordered the same quantity at Baidu and only spent $42. I higly recommend this restaurant to everyone.
AWESOME ORANGE CHICKEN. I really am not too crazy about chinese food. But this place is the absolute best i've had. Their orange medium spicy chicken is to DIE for.
Best Chinese Food...EVER. This place serves healthy chinese food and is delicious and has fast service. I dine in about once aweek and have it delivered about once a week...low cal dishes are packed with flavor
The best Chinese delivery in SW Las Vegas. I eat Baidu 1-2 times per week, and really enjoy it. I lot of Chinese food in LV is heavy, greasy and very Americanized. While I enjoy the egg foo young, I really enjoy more authentic dishes like beef chow fun and the singapore mai fun. There are many unique dishes such as Emperor Prawns, a tepura-like shrimp dish with sauteed string beans. Another is a wonderful eggplant and chicken entree. Delivery service is great, but I really hate the delivery fee. I would highly recommend Baidu.
quality chinese food. this place has quality chinese food. they're orange chicken uses white meat chicken breast tender pieces, not dark meat. i haven't found another chinese restaurant that uses white meat for their orange chicken. also, their jumbo shrimp is actually jumbo shrimp. they're about the size of a chicken nugget from mcdonald's... maybe even a little bigger than that. usually i see chinese restaurants use shrimp that are about the size of a quarter or maybe even a half dollar coin. this place really has great quality chinese food.
Best Chinese food in Las Vegas. With a Chinese background, I've pretty much had Chinese food my entire life. If you're looking for great Chinese food, Baidu is the place to go. This place has a lot of the traditional favorites, like Mongolian Beef, Kung Pao Chicken, and Honey Glazed Walnut Shrimp. They just happen to make each dish with perfection. My personal favorites are the Potato Beef. It's a simple dish, with pretty much sliced of beef with slices of potato, tossed up in a wok and covered in a savory dark sauce. Another favorite is the Eggplant Chicken. They mix in hearty cuts of Japanese eggplant with slivers of chicken breast, stir fry it, and serve it up with a garlic sauce. The food itself is the best part about the restaurant, but the service is just as nice. Add to that a decent price (5.95 for lunch, less than 10 for dinner), what's not to love?
