In Short – Overlooking the Mirage's casino floor and tropical garden, this 11,000-square-foot eatery contains water features, a 110-foot-long glowing "fire" wall made of glass and uses exotic woods, stone, copper and onyx to create a refined feel. One signature appetizer is "The Rock," thinly sliced marinated New York strip steak cooked tableside on a hot rock. Entrees include grilled hamachi, peking duck, which one Citysearch user called "absolutely divine" and monkfish foie gras wrapped in fluke and octopus. In the lounge guests dine on "pricey" sushi and small plates. – –

the place is sort of secluded in the middle of the casino area. interior decor is really nice. we came for happy hour before the Cirque de Soleil Love show. the food was really good. our party of six picked about 7 different items, all delicious. total bill was under $200 which included drinks.
- Pros: happy hour prices
- Cons: non happy hour prices
good food; reasonably quick service

I ate here on a Thursday night before the late Cirque show at the Mirage. The sushi is definitely pricey but tastes fresh. The duck was absolutely devine. The waitress was attentive although we did run out of water once. Our food came out reasonably quickly--it was actually good timing because the sushi came out first, which we were splitting, and just as we were finishing, the duck entree came out, which we were also splitting. When we told the waitress we were going to the Cirque show, she was quick about getting our tab settled out.
- Pros: great food, fast service
- Cons: very pricey, especially the sushi.
Not Bad... Not Great

The room is a bit too bright. Tables are comfortable. The staff is caring and attentive. The restrooms are tiny and the path you take to and from is not well planned - you run into the kitchen and storage room. The sauces are strange - espically for the oysters and shrimp cocktail. The stemware & platware and other utencils are very creative. The wine and champagne list is solid. The music is up and down - inconsistent. Overall: fair.
- Pros: Service and Presentation
- Cons: Sauces, Music, Floor Plan
