Mixed opinions. We received complimentary cornbread pancakes - delicious.

Each of us ordered fried chicken as an entree with me choosing dark meat and Ann white. Mine was moist and delicious; Ann's was dry. I enjoyed the crispy crust, my wife didn't.

Each entree came with a choice of 3 sides. Together we sampled macaroni and cheese (good), green beans (canned), collard greens (excellent), fried okra (very good) and sweet potatoes (good). The restaurant was in process of closing for the night as we began to exit so the biggest, baddest-looking security guard I have ever seen opened the unlocked door and watched as we got safely in our car.

Just plain GOOD!!!!. excellent freaking stuffing and don't even get me started on the red beans & rice. The fried chicken is crispy and hot and delicious and the bbq'd short ribs are the BEST!!!! Next time I think I will have the short ribs with gravy, collard greens, and stuffing. MMMMMMM!!! I am gonna take my family there when they come to town.

Pure indulgence. I eat here all the time, including today. The smothered fried chicken is "da bomb." It is slightly better than the smothered fried chicken at Big Moma's Rib Shack, but they both make excellent versions. The candied yams melt in your mouth. The cornbread is yummy, served like flapjacks and tastes like butter corn bread. Their peach cobbler is okay -- too many peaches and not enough crust, in my opinion, but this is the place to go if you want to dance happy with your food.

Editorial Review. Family-friendly restaurant serves affordable, home-style soul food like meatloaf, smothered chicken, liver and onions, plus burgers, sandwiches and traditional desserts.

Best Soul Food in vegas. The food was incredible but be prepared to wait almost 20 minutes for your order, if you order any of the fried items as they are made fresh every time, the corn bread will help make the time fly.
