I just signed up for cox 3 weeks ago for the introduction price of $29.99 for the first month. They just called me and told me that I was late on my payment of $79. Keep in mind I already had a modem and set everything up myself and I had only been a member for 3 weeks. They charged me because they have to have a guy come out and tap into the cable box. They said I had to pay because the guy had to cross the sidewalk; if he didn't have to cross the side walk to get to the box, I would not have to pay the $60. So please make sure you ask what all of the hidden fees are if you decide to sign up. I cancelled on the spot. Customer service was like pulling teeth. I could have been talking to a robot and had better service.
Pros: high speed
Cons: high cost and bad customer service
