Except for today's confusion over
payment, everything went great on both ends of the move. Both crews were excellent. Our furniture was well cared for and arrived in great shape. I may have mis-heard you about =
"postal money order". I thought a money order from Wells Fargo Bank would be just as good. At any rate, the agreement for a cashiers check today at least meant only one more trip to the bank, rather than having to deal with the bank and the post office while the crew waited. Thanks for all your help setting things up. Everything was true to your word. I would certainly recommend New Planet Moving to anyone else.

The sales rep was nice, helpful
slightly pushy. If I didnt need 3 quotes and had two weeks to do everything for a 5000 mile move I would never have bothered with them.
The sales rep said they could do everything that I was looking for which wasnt much. Storage in the area I was moving to until I had an adress and date for delievery. as well as someone to transport my car.
I was packing everything and there wasnt much. I explained everything I had and they sent over a contract with a price and everything.
Once all my quotes were in my company choose them as they were the cheapest... so cheap in fact my gut said it was wrong.
I tried to convince my boss they werent right for the job but money talks... or rather not having to spend money talks.
They regret it now.
On pick up date they switched from weight to size of move. the price went from 1800 to almost 7740. And this was after having to explain over and over that I was not paying them a cash dposit that my work was paying for everything.
Which I had covered with the sales rep.
They took my stuff and after it was on the truck informed me of the new price and oh by the way surcharges for stairs and if the have to use a smaller truck for delivery.
I had no choice at that point as I had to be on the other side of the country working in less then 48hours.
My car was supposed to be picked up the same day... wrong again they were told it was ok to pick it up the next day.
After negotiating again I had to drop it off....
Once I got to the company to drop it off I again had to negotiate that they take it since the person I spoke to forgot to mention they dont take cars after a certain time even though they are open 24hours.
They delievered my car without giving me any notice and instead of door to door like it was supposed to I had to take a train 50 miles away to pick up my car and again explain that the car had a deposit and I didnt owe the full amout before they finally released it.
My belongings took 2 weeks too long as the sales rep lied and my stuff was not locally stored it was kept in Vegas.
My work kept calling and calling and so did I... no call backs.
After the overpriced move far more expensive in the end then any of the other quotes.
They called me on a Thursday and said they could deliver saturday or sunday.... short notice but chance had it I was off saturday.
I informed them I was off only saturday and unavailable sunday.
On friday they left me a message saying they were delivering on SUNDAY... WTF.
I called back again, explained again that i was working sunday and saturday was it.
They said the boss would call... no call
Called again... boss would call.
Finally called again ... oh boss said delivery 10pm saturday.
Then they tell me they want to charge me more money cause they cnt bring the big truck where I live.
And how am I paying them.
I told them to contact my work all payment goes through them.
When my belongings arrived they were thrashed. Boxes were ripped, broken dirty.
They said they had to put some boxes in new boxes cause others got broken.
One drawer on my chest of drawers no longer opens.
My cat post is missing.
They tried to give me someone elses table
I have someone elses box which contains a drum.
Now I have to wait another week for my missing items, and to return someone elses missing item.
Every step of the way after the sales rep is done they turn unethical, uncomminicative, and frustrating.
I WILL NEVER RECOMEND THEM TO ANYONE.
PEASE DONT USE New Planet Moving in Las Vegas for any move.
The goodness of New Planet Moving and Storage seriously made my actual moving day go with ease. These guys were efficient and awesome. Before the move, they were very nice and accommodating in my early start time. Then when I had to push back my move date, they adjusted their schedule accordingly. These guys complied with all the annoying requests from both my old place and new place and they did the whole job in 2.5 hours only! The movers were nice, and simply made my day. Nothing was broken and everything went as per the schedule that day. My only concern was that due to some reason they did not accept payment thru card on that day and I had to arrange for an alternative payment arrangement.
Every piece of furniture was placed in the new place exactly where we wanted, and our pieces are heavy... As i spoke to you the other day, we were so pleased, we asked you to move us back when we are ready...That is how satisfied we are with your company. Again we would like to say Thank You, and please use us for a reference any time necessary. Thank You!
I just want to tell you that we were
pleased with your service from beginning to end. The guys at pick up were courteous and efficient.
We made contact with Carlos. He was kind and kept us up to date as to when he would be delivering. Both guys were patient and did a nice job.
My daughter was a little stressed during delivery and at the end found damage on a Secretary Desk. Carlos took a picture and said they would take care of it. He couldn't have been nicer. Later, I was able to point out that the damage was not on the part of New Planet but at another time period. When she was able to be calm, she had to agree that it was not New Planet's fault. Please disregard the damage claim.

Overall I was very happy with your service from beginning to end. There is really nothing I would say I was unhappy with at all. Everything worked out according to the agreement without any surprises and your company was very flexible with me considering my situation. Unfortunately, my house was being worked on when my things were delivered so I can't comment on the "setup" part of the move, but I'm sure it would have been fine. I was very happy with all of the people I dealt with from pickup to delivery. Moshe was very nice from day one all the way to the end and beyond that. Thank you. I will be happy to provide a reference for your company if you need it in the future.
I hate moving but have experienced moving many times and cherish services that were offered by New Planet Moving and Storage . It was a good experience and they did a great a job: on time, worked quickly, and moved carefully. Also, they were within their stipulated estimate, despite the fact there was a spread between their estimate and their not-to-exceed amount, so they could have charged more and been within expectations. After the job was done the amount due was less than the initial quote of $ 500 since they completed it before time the amount reduced to $425 for which I had to face a little inconvenience of going to my bank and ordering a separate cheque for them otherwise their service was not bad at all.
I'm COMPLETELY OUTRAGED!!!! This company said they "secured" a place for me approximately a week before my move was to occur. Then, after providing my credit card information for the security deposit, I'm told that they don't know which day they will arrive. They gave me a choice of two days, one being not my choice at all (a day earlier) than my choice. However, I still agreed to make it work and made necessary work arrangements since I was coming across state lines. I then wait the following day for their phone call "AS PROMISED" to notify me which day they were coming. Well...no one called, so I called them that same evening and was then told by someone that they were still "working out driver schedules" and would let me know the next day (Just one day before the earliest move date they quoted me). I then receive an email later that evening from one of the dispatch employees telling me that they are now "unable to meet my requested day." Wtf??? What happened to a secure spot??? So... I called them back the next day (which is today) and asked for clarification on that email message. I'm then told by another employee that their "truck broke down" and that the earliest move date they could do would be in about a week. This is absolutely ridiculous! First...we go from "working out the schedule" delay excuse to the truck broke down???? Really? Do they seriously think I'm that stupid? How can a so-called "reputable" company treat potential clients like this? Moving is already a VERY stressful time, especially across state lines...and... to notify me of this crap less than 24 hrs before the earliest quoted arrival is ABSURD! Really??? And during this time of yr when EVERYONE is literally booked up??? Unbelievable and Ridiculously BAD BUSINESS for New Planet movers!!! I WILL NEVER recommend this company. EVER!!! They screwed up everything for my move!
When my colleague and I decided to move , I knew that the days of casual moving wasn't going to work any longer and so we ventured out to find the best movers for the job and couldn't have been happier with . From the start, I had a plan to call up New Planet Moving and Storage. Being a newbie I had a TON of questions and they were very patiently and pleasantly answered by their sales rep . Before the move, they went to our address to scope out the parking scenario for the truck (since we didn't have any parking and they wanted to ensure the smoothest move possible) and got back to me in a timely manner to let me know that we needed a permit to reserve several spots for the truck to take up for unloading. . My only concern was that due to some reason they did not accept payment thru card on that day and I had to arrange for a cashier’s cheque from my bank which was a bit inconvenient otherwise their service was not bad.
