Choose a different restaurant for teppanyaki. This is my first time writing and you will see what has prompted me to indulge.

My family (self, wife 5 & 7 year olds) just finished dinner at Ta Ta (yes, it is now Ta Ta, something about a law suit with Tao on the strip). We have eaten at over 25 different teppanyaki concepts so I would consider myself a good judge of this type of food/cooking. So here goes the ratings:

Food- Good and generous portions. The dipping sauces were not good and the salad was the worst I have ever had.

The Cook-he informed us it was his first day so I was a bit worried, but he was actually ok. He had a nice attitude and the usual skills. He did use to much oil, but all in all not to bad.

Atmosphere- A large dining room, but only 2 cook tops (you will read why this is such a problem.

Service- It has been many years (and I mean many) since I have left a tip below 15% (I was a waiter and bartender in a previous life), but I just left a 9% tip and I would say that is the same as Zero to most people. The service started out ok. The problems started when we could not find the server to bring the rice for the kids meals. Then my wife finally got a refil for her Pepsi (they must have thought it was ice tea because that is what they brought her). Here is what has caused me to write this review.....As soon as the cook finished the server came over and asked us to move (yes, myself, wife and 2 kids with all of their mess) to another table because they had a 6:00 reservation that was there. We were seated at 5:20!!!!!!! We had not taken our sweet time. I have never heard of such a thing. They offered a weak appology but we still needed to move.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU, ONLY YOUR MONEY.

Such a shame because it is 1.5 miles from my house, they could have made a ton of money from me over the years if they just cared about me and not the all mighty dollar.
