Affordable, fun, escape, Old Vegas Is Back!.
I have been living in Las Vegas for over 25 years; finally the good old fashion Vegas I remembered is back at Inn Zone! Inn Zone reminds me of the days my parents would take us for a quality meal at the local casino/resort buffet for pennies on the dollar, afterward drop us off at the arcade with a pocket full of change, and then head directly for the video poker machines. Mom & Dad didn’t win all the time, but they bragged often, and we came back weekly.
The Inn Zone is very gambler friendly, in my opinion. I came with about $100.00 and left with $90; no I didn’t Win BIG at the Inn Zone (could have, had I left) but I did get to drink, mingle, watch the game, and get away for half the day for the whopping price of $10. I would recommend this lounge to anyone that’s looking for an escape, because I felt like I left the regular high priced, overly glitzy Las Vegas scene for a better part of the day. I can’t speak for all the locations (because I haven’t been there), but Inn Zone on St. Rose Pkwy., was nice; clean, friendly, and the Inn Zone staff took good care of me.
Keep up the awesome job, Inn Zone!
I'm done with the Inn Zone. The Inn Zone was my favorite local bar to drink at. That is until a late-night bartender, Mike I think, made a few rude comments to my boyfriend and I. First, my boyfriend put a $20 in the video poker machine so the bartender comp'd his beer. OK, cool - right? No. My boyfriend started gabbin on with a friend (like usual) and not even five minutes later the bartender came over and said "if you want that beer for free then you have to play." REALLY!? So, we played.. And we won :) We used some of our winnings to play the jukebox. Now, my boyfriend likes heavy metal and I understand if one cannot appreciate the art of "heavy metal" as nor do I. However, I do put up with it for his sake. Apparently, the barteneder did not feel the same. After one song the bartender came over and told my boyfriend that he was going to turn it off. His justification was there were "big gamers" on the other side of the bar that didn't like heavy metal. EXCUSE ME!? I didn't know that we were playing at the high limits table at the Bellagio or I would have ordered for more free drinks. The friend that my boyfriend first started talking to asked what all the fuss was about. My boyfriend explained to him that the "high rollers" didn't like his music so the bartender wanted to turn it off. He was not complaining, just telling the friend what was going on. Just then, we heard a rude commment from the other end of the bar, "I don't need any smart a$s comments from you" said the bartender. WHAT!?! REALLY? We left soon after purely because of the bartender's attitude. I was ready to get drunk that night too! They could have gotten an easy $50-$75 out of me, but no. Instead, the Inn Zone at St. Rose & Eastern lost a few customers.
