Lot's of bar fights here

Very good chance you will be "Chose off" to fist fight one of the regulars.

So if you're not into trading punches and going to jail, avoid the Double Down Saloon.AKA: "The Happiest Place on Earth".

Strong drinks, great bartenders, but the place is full of troublemakers, slimeballs and addicts.

• Pros: A genuine dive bar with Pimps, Soiled Doves, Hypes and fugitives from the law
• Cons: You will be challenged to a bar fight, thus spending your vacation in jail with the other Double Down customers.

Great signature drink

My friend and I went to the Double Down on a quest for a Vegas "dive bar" experience. We are your average 30 something white collar housewives - and we had a great time. The clientele in there would be scary by stereotype, but as I have found through my years of dive bar experiences, the most friendly people to be found are "bikers". We talked with the other patrons and really enjoyed their signature drink called a** juice. The bathrooms are really something to see. We walked from the Double Down to the Hard Rock Casino, and I don't remember it being very far or a dangerous walk.

Dive Dive Dive

I saw people in there with no teeth, unshowered, bandanas....and that was just the women. It's a DIVE. Tats, piercings, punk, goth, rockabilly hipsters, bikers, more tats. Order a classic like a Manhattan and be grateful if you get sweet vermouth. They'll kick you in the 'nads if you ask for bitters. And if you want it shaken like a martini? You'll be lucky if you walk out with all of your teeth. But if you had teeth in the first place....

It's definitely hidden, but it's right by the airport, next to impossible to find. Have the cabbie take you there on your way out.
