Avoid Thumbs Down. Avoid! The introductory 50 minute massage session is $39. A 3, 6 or 12 month contract is $39 membership rate + $20 membership dues for a 55 minute massage and it is not 1 hour. Your credit card is charged automatically for $59 every month on your sign up date of the month until you cancel contract. To cancel contract you must provide a 30 day notice in writing. Should you not have a routine massage every month they will carry over a credit for you. However, should you cancel and not use your credits within the 30 day notice you lose them. They use hard sale aggressive forceful tactics to encourage their clients and members to leave a gratuity for their therapist. With tips the figure can climb to $65. The sales associate and therapist are paid hourly plus commission. They will use a placard tactic that solicits a 15% gratuity based on a non membership rate of $79 + 15% tip making the figure climb to $91. They ask if your session was okay and will shove this placard in front of you quoting this non member tip rate to get more money out of you. They will do this every time in front of other guest and EMBARRASS you to leave more (commission/tips). They do not quote the tip at member rate. Effective 6/1/08, ?2 hour? massage will have an automatic 15% gratuity. Not sure if this is subject to member or non member rates. It?s also a 50/50 for a decent therapist that actually knows what their doing. The franchise should offer higher wages to their employees so perhaps the pursuit of commission won?t be what it?s all about. Customer service is not their strong suit. It?s a nightmare to place your contract on hold and then try to cancel after the hold. The best possible suggestion would be to pay as you go $90+ to the competitor and have a no hassle, no obligation, and no contract agreement and be done with it! Thumbs down to Massage Envy!

Great marketing, bad massages. I was given a massage gift certificate by a friend to go try massage envy. Thank God I did not pay for it. They say they give 50 minute massages. They start counting down the minute you enter the front door to the establishment. When they get you into the room they leave for 5 minutes or so to let you get undressed and onto the table. I requested a male therapist and was given a female. I did not cause a scene, just took what they gave me, after all, it was a gift certificate. She was ok, nothing to brag about. The thing that made it bad for me was she talked to me about how much they got paid for each massage regardless of the type of massage. They get paid $15 per massage when the place itself might charge a client more. Depending on each location. I found this to be odd... She went on to tell me she basically works there cause the tips are great since the prices are so cheap. Well, in my opinion she needs to work harder if it is based on tips, cause I only tipped her $5 cause she was horrible. The actual massage was only 35 minutes. Keep that in mind if you choose to go there.

Massage Envy is a step above a massage school. I feel it is very unprofessional for a therapist to ever mention tipping with a client no matter what spa it is in.

You get what you pay for- ask for someone with experience. If you have any doubts about the quality of the therapist that you are working with, ask to work with a "lead therapist" to ensure you are going to get someone with experience under their belt.

WORST MASSAGE EVER!!. Worst massage I ever had !!I went to the massage envy on Flamingo and Grand Canyon. I arrived there 10min before my appointment and the therapist already looked miserable and you could tell she really didnt want to work, as we went into the room she told me to go ahead and get ready and that she would be back.. I waited for almost 10min before she came back. When she finally got there she did ask me what I liked and if there was a certain part in my body that I would liked worked on. I told her that I am more into deep tissue massage and she seemed like she understood. During the massage it was nothing like a deep tissue but more like a very LAZY MASSAGE and the kind of touch you do when your petting your dog, I also noticed she would stop for so long as if she was falling asleep or something. 20min into the massage It was so awful I felt as though just lying there wasting an 1hr of my time.. I finally said something " if maybe we could cut the massage shorter and she stated that she did not feel well and that they made her supervisor made her work anyway. I was so looking forward to my massage after coming from work but it turned out t be a DISASTER!! T o anyone looking for a great massage place I would not recommend this place.

best massage in Las Vegas. I have had massages all over the world. Some massages stand out from the rest. I joined Massage Envy and had a few standard massages from therapists without a lot of experience. The Massage Envy located on Grand Canyon near Flamingo and I-215 has the best massage therapists. After having a spectacular, perfect in every way experience, I now look forward to coming home to Las Vegas. Lisa is my massage therapist there and cannot be surpassed in her technique, flow and talent. The price is right, the service from the front desk staff is warm and inviting. If you are looking for a really good massage, I highly recommend Massage Envy

Unskilled - Just Out of Massage School. NOT RECOMMENDED. If your looking for a massage on short notice, you can probably get an appointment at Massage Envy on just a few hours notice. If you are looking for talented, experienced massage therapists, KEEP LOOKING.

I got roped in to buying one of their memberships to get a free massage every month. Its really just a pre-paid massage. I have been to Massage Envy (REGRETFULLY) 5 times and on a scale of 1 to 10 (ten being the best) you might get a 4.

In my opinion Massage Envy is A GREAT IDEA, POORLY EXCECUTED. NOT RECOMMENDED

LACKING BASIC MASSAGE SKILLS. ANY OF THE MASSAGE THERAPISTS I HAVE SEEN HERE ARE LACKING THE BASIC SKILLS FOR A GOOD MASSAGE. I BOUGHT A 6 MONTH "MEMBERSHIP" SO I HAVE TWO MORE MONTHS TO GO THEN I WILL NOT GO TO MASSAGE ENVY AGAIN. NOT RECOMMENDED.
