Editorial Review for Joe's Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab – by Nicole Urso

In Short
Unlike the modern-day formula for family style chain steakhouses with lots of gimmicks and kitsch, Joe's focuses its attention on quality cuts, fresh fish and an ultra sleek attitude that would do the Rat Pack proud. It's located on the ground level of Caesar's Palace in the Forum Shops and features rich mahogany decor, leather booths and a grand full-service bar.

My husband and I love to eat at Joe's when we go to Vegas. The first Joe's we ate at was in Chicago and it was so great that when we saw the Joe's in Vegas we had to try it again. The food is great and the sevice is always prompt. We have never had a bad experience. The bone-in filet is to die for and I love the stone crab. Try the second mortgage appetizer!! YUMMY!!

Pros: Awesome steaks and stone crab!!

Cons: Sit out on the patio with kids

Been to the REAL Joe's in M. Beach many times. This place is like a fake Rolex. The food is good, but the rest of the place is a sad attempt at trying to have the magic that the original Joe's has. Remember Star Trek? The food that came out of the replicator machine? All the crew members would complain that the food tasted fake. Joe's in Vegas is the opposite. The food is fine, but everything else, even down to the waiters phony stories are replicated. I gave my waitress a nice tip and told her how I felt. She bent down to my ear and told me "This is the most BORING place I have ever worked" I can't imagine working there. I was bored after being there for 20 minutes!!! Save your $$$. Go somewhere that's real and not an imitation.

Pros: can't think of one

Cons: Stone crab in Vegas has been frozen, it's not fresh
