Very disappointed. I was looking forward to dining here. But unfortunately I was not pleased with ANYTHING. We sat at our table for about 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged that we were there. I had to grab the first server I saw to let him know I was there. The mozzerela and tomato app was not even good and was like $15. Totally not worth it. Our entrees were not all that great either. The service was terrible and again, we sat there for about 15-20 minutes after we were done with our food befroe our server came back. I had to waive him down again and ask for our check. Will not be coming here again.
Cute restaurant, with some service problems. My husband and I went here for New Years Eve dinner. I'm not sure what happened, but there was a long wait to be seated and it seemed that the restaurant was having some issues. We sat at the bar prior to dinner and the bartender was obnoxious. I asked for the drink menu and he said they didn't have one. But I found one on the bar a few minutes after--strange. When we were finally seated, I enjoyed the bread and pistachios they provided before the meal. My fish was ok, but I didn't love it. And my husband ordered the seafood stew which was mediocre. I did like the ambiance though--it's a cute restaurant. I would go back, but I'd hope for a better experience.
Disappointing. Despite being seated on the patio, earlier than our scheduled reservation, the food and service was disappointing. Limited and bland menu, followed by inconsistent service, resulted in a mediocre experience overall.
Lakeside bistro offers French-Cajun dining to South Shore residents and well-heeled guests from the nearby Ritz-Carlton and Hyatt hotels..
