In Short – Upscale yet laid-back, this Montelago Village restaurant has a spacious dining area featuring mahogany tables, a carved mahogany raw bar and Italian marble floors. Jazz and zydeco are piped through the restaurant, and patio tables have good views of the live entertianment on Lake Las Vegas' floating stage. The wide-ranging menu features French dishes such as fromage and honeycomb and sole meuniere, as well as Cajun entrees like po'boy sandwiches, gumbo and crawfish etouffee.
Very disappointed

I was looking forward to dining here. But unfortunately I was not pleased with ANYTHING. We sat at our table for about 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged that we were there. I had to grab the first server I saw to let him know I was there. The mozzerela and tomato app was not even good and was like $15. Totally not worth it. Our entrees were not all that great either. The service was terrible and again, we sat there for about 15-20 minutes after we were done with our food befroe our server came back. I had to waive him down again and ask for our check. Will not be coming here again.
Cute restaurant, with some service problems
by wilby120
My husband and I went here for New Years Eve dinner. I'm not sure what happened, but there was a long wait to be seated and it seemed that the restaurant was having some issues. We sat at the bar prior to dinner and the bartender was obnoxious. I asked for the drink menu and he said they didn't have one. But I found one on the bar a few minutes after--strange. When we were finally seated, I enjoyed the bread and pistachios they provided before the meal. My fish was ok, but I didn't love it. And my husband ordered the seafood stew which was mediocre. I did like the ambiance though--it's a cute restaurant. I would go back, but I'd hope for a better experience.
- Pros: Ambiance, food
- Cons: service
Disappointing

Despite being seated on the patio, earlier than our scheduled reservation, the food and service was disappointing. Limited and bland menu, followed by inconsistent service, resulted in a mediocre experience overall.
- Pros: Patio
- Cons: Mediocrity with food and service
