T-bones NOT so classy. I have been many times to Bouchon and The Capital Grille and price wise, this is right there with them. I was very dissappointed, from the bread that came to the table with a thick burnt bottom crust, to the fact that my order wasn't correct and I opted to keep it because of time...after that the waiter didn't even come back to our table. You know, a classy restaurant would send someone to apologize, and offer a complimentary dessert, or something, which we wouldn't have accepted because we had to go anyway. Just shows they don't really care. I would take my money to the strip anyday! I will never go back to T-bones, Bouchon, Capital Grille, here I come!

So, I've been here a bunch of times and had average experiences, but this time, it was not even average, so I give up - they are fired... there are too many good Steakhouses in town to keep going back.
Maybe it was because my girl and I were dressed casually (before the movies) and we didn't order 4 courses. The server chaged from luke warm to cold when he determined our check average wasn't going to be $120. What a loser - because I tip very well when things are good or great.
The food is consistently average and they try too hard to up sell you and over pour the bottled water.
Done with them. The chain Flemmings is better and SW and Nine and Delmonico and Cut are all WAY better and worth the commute from the suburbs.
Sorry Red Rock - love ya, but as for steak houses go, we're over... I'd rather go to LBS Burger Joint and have a better meal and be treated better by their staff.
Disappointed. Being a native to Las Vegas, I have been in most Vegas steak houses. My wife and I took another couple to dinner on a Friday evening. Though we had reservations, we still had to wait 30 minutes for our table. 2 mixed bar drinks were $35, but I figured that was because they had a piano bar, so inflated drink prices were reasonable. After being seated, we explained to the waiter that we intend to occupy his table all evening, so don't be in a rush to get our courses out. I guess he took that as if we ordered a drink or bottle of wine, that he could also take 20 minutes to deliver. The appetizers were very good (crab cakes & carpaccio). The salads were good taste, average display. The main courses were average for Vegas Steak houses. I had Filet and lobster. The steak was good but the lobster was overcooked and rubbery. The wait staff was poor. Never smiling, always acting like your request were a burden, and slow. Generally, we had a good experience, which I would have rated a 4 star, but then the check came. To my surprise, the tax line item was $102 on a $585 ticket. That's 17.5%, when NV sales tax in 7.5%. When I questioned the waiter (who added three extra bottles of water on ticket) about the tax, he said he would get a manager. The manager explained it was an entertainment tax??? I explained that was not only just a way to add more profit to an already high priced restaurant without the client knowing about it, but that if they weren't reporting it to the State as tax, it was against the law. She said it was in the computer like that, so she couldn't do anything about it and that it was added in the tax line, but was used as additional income. After expressing by disbelief of the restaurants practices, she finally reduced my ticket. UNBELIEVABLE!! For them to try to slip in 10% on top of our actual order, hiding it under tax is WRONG. After an evening of drinking, most people probably didn't even notice they were screwed. NO CLASS
Great quantity and quality of everything. This is my first time writing a review. We stayed overnight at Red Rock on Christmas eve as a gift to ourselves - what a wonderful resort. We decided to go with our first choice for dinner - T-bones, instead of leaving the resort. What a wonderful experience it was. Our waiter was great - attentive, friendly and knowledge, always there when you needed him, but not always 'in your face' every minute. We had the Tune Poke and the Lump Crab Cocktail for appetizers - excellent choices (I had extra crab to compliment the rest of my meal, and still couldn't finish it all there was so much). We also had the chopped salad and the lobster bisque - again very large portions and wonderful. For entrees we had the 8oz. filet and the 20 oz. (bone-in) New York strip - done to perfection as we requested, flavorful, moist and juicy. Couldn't have dessert we were so full. All-in-all, average pricing for a fine dining steakhouse - but it was the portion sizes that really made the meal a great value. Make sure to allow each side dish to serve at least two persons - and then even share everything else - there's that much and it's that good.
The Best in Las Vegas. This steakhouse is the best in Las Vegas! My wife and I eat here every chance we get! The bone-in ribeye is absolutely phenomenal!!!! The ambience is stylish and very, very romantic. If you know steak, this is the place to go. We have dined inside and on the patio. Both are awesome, but smoking is allowed on the patio, so if that is a problem for you, you may want to dine inside only.
Very nice dining experience. Overall, a fine experience. The restaurant actually has space between the tables and the booths offer privacy as opposed to some newer "trendy" places that have you sitting with strangers (9ine). The tuna poke appetizer was outstanding and very fresh and the wife liked the steakhouse salad (although $12 for some chopped lettuce drives me crazy). The Chateaubriand was excellent and was served with large portions of vegetables and potatoes. The tater tots with truffles were also unique, but the dessert menu was rather drab. Only complaint is that the busboy only refilled the waters once, but the waiter was very personable. We will return again.
Best Steak in town. Gallagher's in New York New York is very good. Ruth's Chris or Fleming's is Better. T-Bones is the best! I've eaten steaks at all places from The Palm to Gibson's but the best steaks are at T-bones. They have great servers to guide you through your dining experience from appetizers to dessert. Try the baked oysters to start and accompany your Prime steak with their black truffle tator tots (not kidding...they are fantastic). Try it, you will not be disappointed.
GREAT PIANO,Lousy food,rude management.
I didnt expect to go to T-Bones,but am glad I did.
Not because of the food(Which was only fair,and slightly over priced)but because of the wonderful live piano music they had when I was there!
I was thoroughly impressed that T-bones had someone like this at the restaurant!
What a treat!
(His name was Brian,by the way,and he thouroughly entertained us for the short time we were there.)
Unfortunately,he was the one bright spot in an otherwise dismal dining experience!
First off,I do not understand WHY they put the piano right near the door?
My wife and I wanted to sit close to the piano,but everytime the door opened, a gust of freezing air would come in,and we ended up moving away from the piano so we wouldnt get chilled!
Also,we didnt care for the attitude of one of the managers,who so rudely interrupted this wonderful piano player not once but several times!
When we asked the pianist why this had happened,he said that there had been complaints about people "singing along",and that the management didnt want anyone to do this.
Which brings me to another complaint---The whole "Piano area" in T-Bones is designed to look EXACTLY like a piano bar!!
If the T-Bones management doesnt want people to sing along with the piano player,they shouldnt call it a piano bar!
AND they should definitely move it to a WARMER area of the restaurant so that people who DO want to hear it dont have to be frozen to death by the cold air coming in.
I would ONLY go back to T-Bones to hear the piano,as the food was undercooked and over priced.
(Tho the waiter did a good job)
RED ROCK DOES IT RIGHT!!!!. red rocks casino did a great job with this high end steakhouse. first great thing, you dont have to walk through the casino to get here, just a short walk from parking and before you get to the casino floor, there it is!!second great thing. PRIME DRY AGED BEEF!!! same beef that hanks at gvr uses(24days wet 24days dry)fantastic room,great service.if you like hanks you will like this place, same menue , same drinks,same huge sides. classic prime steakhouse done with class and style!!
BEST STEAK - RIB EYE, BEST CRABCAKES.
I LOVE STEAK AND THIS IS THE BEST I HAVE EVER HAD. THE CRABCAKES ARE AMAZING TOO.
THEY ALSO HAVE A GREAT DRINK... I FORGOT THE NAME THOUGH... THE NAME WAS THREE DIGITS 709 OR SOMETHING.. VERY REFRESHING.
I'VE BEEN THERE TWICE AND THE SECOND TIME WAS EVEN BETTER THAN I REMEMBER. WORTH THE DRIVE. I MIGHT GO AGAIN THIS NEXT WEEK.

SERVICE WAS GOOD. THE WAITER EVEN REMEMBERED US. IF THEY HAD T-BONES IN LA I MIGHT GO BROKE TRYING TO GO EVERY WEEKEND...
