BEware of Penny The Regular/Maneater. my man went on a trip--we were having trouble, he lost his job.

Penny-who sits at the bar and is a regular there (blond, fake boobs, lonely looking) totally goes back to his room, performs oral sex with him, then screws him--she knew he was married. I think she had an STD.

She will then try to keep calling him, so be aware she is desperate to be THAT girl.

Owners of this restaurant should know she is treating it like her own personal street corner--GOOD LUCK

Everything about this place is DELICIOUS!. In Vegas for the first time ever for my wedding, our chatty limo driver suggested this place to us. We were SO SO SO glad he did.

You pull into the parking lot and see this little building...appearances can be deceiving ;)

You enter into a small area and ring the doorbell...what happens next? Well that's part of the fun of this place - a throwback to the "gangster" days of the 20s & 30s.

With a party of 5 we were seated almost immediately (and mind you this was Halloween night). As the night went on the place filled up, but we were NEVER made to feel like they were rushing us out the door. The lighting is dim and the menus come with an attached flashlight to help you to see. The dishes are properly named and got a chuckle from us. Since it was Halloween they offered us drinks and we each ordered a "Zombie" martini. The martinis came to us and were green and smoking (a little piece of dry ice) and had an eyeball floating in it. Perfect for the occasion!

I have a thing for Alfredo and HAD to try theirs...it was some of the BEST Alfredo sauce I have ever tasted. You can add a meat of your choice for a couple extra dollars to most of the pasta dishes.

My entire party was delighted with the food and ate the generous helpings till we were stuffed. We all felt it was one of those meals where its soooo good that even though you're stuffed beyond stuffed you don't want to stop eating it because it's just THAT good. We also sampled each others' dishes and every bit of it was amazing. My sister-in-law joked with our waitress "you have 'mama' hidden away in that kitchen dont you!".

The service was EXCELLENT, our water cups were consistently filled and our waitress was an absolute pleasure. We told her they should open a Capo's in Jersey...it would surely make a killing (pun intended ;)!

The "Frank Sinatra" was great entertainment as he walked from table to table and sang Sinatra, Darin and the like.

It was a little bit on the expensive side, but we were glad to pay our bill as we felt every penny was well worth it. Plus they threw in some free Cannolis to celebrate my wedding! Everything about this place was delicious.

I will recommend this place to anyone I know and will definitely be going there the next time I'm in Vegas. A+++'s all around for Capo's.

BRING YOUR OWN CAKE. I brought 11 people for dinner to celebrate my daughters birthday. The food was good (only 1 person in my part was unhappy with the meal), prices fair, but, the service was certainly was lacking. The waiter never checked to see how the meal was. Never offered coffee with dessert. I assume because his tip was included because of the size of our party. His loss, actually, because I never tip a mere 20% with good service. Also, I was charged a $20 "cake fee" for serving my daughters birthday cake. I have been to 5 star retaurants that would not think of doing this. I found this insulting. I will pay extra for a good meal and even let the poor service slide because it does happens occasionally, but, that $20 cake fee was unacceptable. Therefore, for that one reason, I will NOT return to this establishment. My advice....have your cake at home.

Best authentic Italian food in all of Las Vegas!. Ever since I left the East coast, it has been difficult finding good Italian restaurants. My friend I found Capo?s by accident. We saw that it was Italian and decided to check it out. I?m glad that we did! The atmosphere is very relaxing and inviting. The service and staff are first class. The food is amazing. It is fabulous and authentic. As an added bonus the live music is also excellent. Forget the restaurants on the strip and try this one. Every penny spent here is well worth it.

A meal fit for a Don. I go to Vegas every month on business and found myself bored with restaurants in the hotels. Don't get me wrong you can get good eat's on the strip but not eveything in Vegas happens on the strip. A few friends of mine from the area took me to Capo's one night and I fell in love with it. From the minute we pressed the buzzer on the door until the time we walked out of the door back to the car everything was perfect. The food was delicious and the service was first class. It is very dark inside but that holds a lot of appeal as not everyone is staring you in the face while you eat. This is perfect for a date spot. I give it 5 stars!

Coolest off strip restaurant in Vegas INCREDIBLE MEATBALLS!!. I love this place And I bring clients there all the time and they're always blown away.

Sinatra crooner serenades during dinner. Then later R&B mixes take you into the later hours.

I've tried every other Italian place in town and Capo's is definitely the most authentic with an awesome atmosphere. "Try it you'll like it"

Yuck. How can all you people like this restaurant? The food was nothing spectacular-just heavy and the sauces were overkilled with garlic. Believe me, you will be running to the pharmacy to stack up on TUMS after a night out at this restaurant. I am surprised they are still open. I found it too dark and dingy. I bet most of these reviews are just friends of the owner.

Well worth the trip!. O.K. we discovered Capo's purely by mistake, having stayed at one of those awful time share residences down the street and being very hungry, choosing not to cook, we walked half a block and said let's go in here. From the outside the place resembles a bad version of a Hungry Hunter restaurant.. After ringing the bell, and receiving a "traditional" speakeasy reception (PREPARE YOURSELF), we found ourselves in a room, where it took at least 3 minutes for our eyes to adjust to the light, or should I say the lack thereof. It was very gangster"ish", which we loved but may very well put some folks off. We really felt like we were back in the 20's. Seated at the bar for about 15 minutes -- we had no reservations-- we found a bartender who wasn't all that friendly -- at first, but warmed up when he realized we knew our wines, and could school him on how to make a PERFECT martini. Escorted to the "Capone" booth for dinner, we had wonderful service, and felt as though Al himself might come through the door at any moment. The food wasn't 5 star, but it was darn tasty and very filling.

The entertainment was just right for the environment, and we enjoyed every minute of it! Our service was great, and we were extremely surprised when we advised our waitress that she hadn't included our martini's on the check -- to be met with the response...."consider it a bribe and come back soon" -- which we do, every time we go to Las Vegas (5-6 times a year). We're really loooking forward to New Year's Eve!

By the way, don't be afraid to take the youngsters with you! They do a great job of entertaining children.

Go Inside 4 A Drink During Happy Hour, That's About It!. We went to this place a few nights ago, when we entered the ambiance was quite different and unique, but pretty empty. The service was waaaaaaay overkill, and the servers kept rushing us to get our order and clean our table as fast as possible! The food is ok, but the prices overall are pretty high....A glass of house wine is $7 and sodas are $3 each, come on now! We don't eat a whole lot, so we spilt our meal, and they had the nerve to charge us a $4 splitting fee, even though we added salads! Then the server brought us the check and completely messed it up by trying to overcharge us! I would recommend for those of you that want to check this place out, to go during there happy hour, and sit at the bar just to see what the inside looks like....We will not be going there ever again! I do recommend Casa Di Amore's or De Stefano's off of East Tropicana; better food, prices, service and entertainment!
