Las Vegas's WORST Extensions!. I came to Cristophe Salon for hair extensions, color, and highlights after finding one of their staff's personal website, claiming that he did "Las Vegas's best extensions." The color and cut were unremarkable - very flat color and standard cut. The color was not matched well to my skin tone. These are the nicest things I have to say about my experience, because my hair was ruined by their unprofessionally installed extensions for which I paid $2,000.00. I have had hair extensions before, so I know how to take care of them, how they should feel, and how to tell the good from the bad. First of all, the hair was very gorgeous and shiney WHEN IT CAME OUT OF THE BOX. I expect it was coated, because shortly thereafter it started to look very ratty, was itchy, and looked like a long scraggely rat tail. The installation was unprofessional and PAINFUL, which was a first for me and hair extensions. They were tight and they hurt so much, especially when I lay on them because they were puffed out. You could feel the micro locs were crooked and bent. I thought that perhaps this would settle after a few days; otherwise, I would have asked for immediate removal. I was trying to be optimistic. The stylist also placed too many extension in my hair, which were very close to one another - increasing the risk of napping and tangling, which they started doing before even 2 months passed. They also shed like crazy. I lost many pieces and one day, and the others look like they were holding on for dear life. You could see where they were sliding off, as the fake hair was sticking out the top. What a horrible experience, and my hair was ruined. Many of the ladies in the salon have nice hair and look very stylish. The salon has a stylish appearance as well. Don't let it fool you. All that glitters is not gold, and this salon ruined my hair.

Over Priced and Overrated!!. Since I had to be in Vegas while pregnant I decided to treat myself to a new hairstyle and thought this Salon would be a good choice. Boy was I way wrong. I got the $110 package that includes consultation, shampoo, cut and style. I was excited to get a well trained pro to give me a new do. First of all I was there on time and there were at least 5 people behind the main counter laughing and cutting up, then I waited for 15 minutes for my stylist who was one of the dudes cutting up just making his customer wait. The consultation was a joke, he really had no professional advice and didn't seem to care about what I wanted. The shampooing was rough on my neck and he managed to get my shirt all wet. He was rough with brushing my hair and didn't socialize with me at all. I was not offered a beverage and when he was done cutting and drying he didn't even style my hair! I mentioned that it should have come with a style so he did a quick side part with some hairspray, didn't ask me how I liked it and just took off the cape and walked me to the counter to pay the outrageous price for nothing. I could have gotten better customer service and the same cut at fantastic sams or something. Keep in mind that Vegas has so many tourists these salons don't count on return customers so don't expect to get top notch service. The MGM is great but their salon quality is poor. The only good thing I have to say is that the atmosphere leading to the entrance is nice but does not match what you get when you walk through the salon doors.

CRISTOPHES STAFF IS AWESOME!. Cristophe salon was recommended and now I know why. I thought it would be stuffy and not my style because it is a well known salon in the hair world, but that was far from the case. The atmosphere was sleek but warm, the champagne was definitely a nice touch, and the staff is professional with a great sense of humor. I was lucky I just happen to be in the salon when was of my favorite shows (Queer Eye For The Straight Guy) was being filmed. That was a an extra treat! Best of all, I look amazing.
