The Scene – BJ's boasts a trendy reclaimed-barn look with vaulted redwood beams. Eclectic touches abound; rococo mirrors sparkle against corrugated-iron walls and the odd chandelier sprouts absentmindedly amidst art deco lamps. The bar area boasts beer-label posters and the ubiquitous big-screen TV blaring the big game on ESPN. – – The Food – The extensive, carbo-loaded menu is perfect for buffering those home brews. To start, the minestrone is stew-thick with a hint of oregano. Entrees include fish-and-chips with seasoned, crispy wedge-cut fries and Blonde…
Great customer service, Jillian Stridde--great waitress
by oak1creek2
Myself and my family have frequented B.J.'s restraunt several times over the past year or so,, and have enjoyed it every time. There is great pizza along with a number of other specialities. The staff is congenial and very warm every time. I want to point out one very special young waitress, Jillian Stridde that makes every time we eat there a wonderful experience that is enjoyed by her bubbly personality. With all of the competition in Las Vegas for peoples choices, with great food, and great people it's a hand's down favorite when it comes to warm, easy dining every time.
- Pros: people, great staff, good consistency in foods
- Cons: no reservations, long waiting for ordering if in the "rush time"
Good American Food, Poor Service
by marnepatterson
BJs is close to my house so I am a frequent diner. This restaurant is okay. Nothing special, but not bad either. It's a brewhouse with a manufactured pub style atmosphere. The restaurant can get really loud and really busy, and if it's busy, forget about good service. The worst thing about this restaurant is the chronically inattentive service. BJs has good pizza that is very unique, and their burgers and sandwiches are tasty too. I like the white cheddar mashed potates. Their spinach dip appetizer is one of the best I have had in town. This is a good place for families.
- Pros: Good, Reliable American Fare; A BrewPub That's Also Great for Families
- Cons: Consistently Terrible Service
The Details on BJ's Brewhouse
The Extras:
As it's name would suggest, BJ's brews several of its own swills, including Nutty Brewnette brown ale and Jeremiah Red red ale.
