Best food I had in Las Vegas.
This was my first time to try tapas with my family and it was a great dining experience for all of us. Every single dish we tried was simply excellent. The service was very friendly too.
The previous night we paid three times as much for dinner at a different restaurant which couldn't even come close in quality to Cafe Ba-Ba-Reeba.
Definitely recommend!
Best Place in Vegas. I have eaten here the last four times I have been in Vegas and it has been a treat every time. The food is so good and is very reasonably priced. The sangria is also top notch. The service is very good, and it is a great place to have a big dinner as they have a few rooms that are very classy and private. I can't say enough good things about this place. Also, if you are going midweek get a certificate from restaurant dot com for a really great deal.
Always a good time. I'm a regular diner here and just had a fabulous experience this past weekend. A dish I usually order wasn't up to par, so I sent it back, and the manager Jay came out with a fresh version of the dish. It was definitely an improvement, and this is just one of the many reasons I go back here time and time again. Love the sangria, love the roasted dates, love it all.
Awesome Dining Experience. We were met by a friendly hostess, and seated outside with a beautiful view of the strip to people watch. The waiter was friendly, helpful, courteous. The food was OUTSTANDING. We tried several of the tapas, and the chicken and artichoke Paella, our waiter let us know the Paella would take extra time and it was well worth the wait. I had the blush sangria (Valentine's special), very light and fruity. This is an experience to savour, definitely not if you are in a hurry-you can, but you will miss out on the ambience and savouring the delicious food. We finished the meal with a lemon cake soaked in a lemon yogurt sauce, and a chocoalte flan. It was my birthday, and I had a wonderful time!! Definitely recommended if you want to impress!! I will go again and again.
Best Mojitoes in town!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Loved the food, prices were right, and best mojitoes in town!!!!!!!!! I had the best time...the staff were helpful and pleasent...will be sure to go back!!!!!!!!!!!!
Someone please open a better tapas restaurant on the strip.. Service was below average, food was bland and not worth your time. It just didn't seem fresh. We asked a few different servers about the food and they couldn't give us an answer because they didn't know what the certain item was. Price for food wasn't bad, but the sangria was weak and over priced. I will not return there.
Good Happy Hour. Went hear for the aforementioned happy hour. This was good to try a lot of different things since the portions are small. There were five different kinds of sangria to try -- red, white, peach, blackberry red, and champagne. We tried them all between the two of us, a fun challenge. Look forward to going back.
Underwhelming. This tapas restaurant by way of Chicago offers ? priced Sangria and an assortment of $3 appetizers in the bar area on weekdays from 4-7PM. Our waitress also served as bartender so service tended to be on the slow side. We started off with a carafe of red sangria (fair, $10) and a chicken empanada (good, $3) served with what tasted like mustard spiked mayonnaise. Our next round included a tiny portion of seafood salad (fair, $3) and a large portion of spicy potatoes with tomato aioli (good, $3). Meanwhile we kept working on the Sangria while enjoying the bar scene. It was at this point that we decided we were not going to be in the mood for a full meal so we asked the waitress/bartender if we could use our $25 Restaurant certificate for the Sangria and appetizers. Not a problem said my now much more likeable waitress. As the bewitching hour of 7PM approached we quickly requested the Serrano ham and tomato bread tapas. (poor, $3) I did a quick calculation and determined we were going to have a difficult time reaching the $35 minimum required for use of the Restaurant certificate so we ordered the goat cheese baked in tomato sauce tapas (Excellent, $7). We were now satiated and ready to quit, but we ordered 2 mini desserts, coconut bread pudding with sorbet and a truffle chocolate cake (good, $4) which were very much underzized. Based on my updated calculations we were still nominally short of the requirement, but I asked the waitress for the bill wow 14 cents to the good.
Underwhelmed.. Several folks had recommended Ba-ba-reeba as an excellent alternative to Firefly; it was supposed to be more affordable, more comfortable, more friendly, etc. I was sorely disappointed. The prices were high, the food was crap, the service was mediocre, and the ambiance was cold. Of the ten tapas I tried, perahaps two were worth the effort of lifting the fork to my lips: the lobster tail (small in size and high in price) and the miniscule coconut bread pudding (undoubtedly improved by the truckload of insipid food that preceeded it). Suggest total avoidance of the jalapeno shrimp (a glorified jack-in-the-box jalapeno popper) and the squid (which tasted like a dirty grill).
Great place!. The food was fantastic! I didn't order anything that wasn't faboulous. Great paella and sangria. This place is definitely worth a visit. It can get a little pricey, but this is perfect for a night of splurging with that special someone!!
