AVOID AT ALL COSTS - BAIT AND SWITCH TACTICS!

Trip res seems harmless enough, it just like all the other online hotel booking companies, right? Wrong. Due to my own forgetfulfulness I forgot I had had the misfortune to use Tripres a few years ago with exactly the same result. Surprisingly, after you have clicked and confirmed you think you have booked a room but alas, you are wrong! What happens next is that Tripres call and email you to tell you to contact the booking departmet regarding your "request" (erm, I thought I had booked it?!) as there has been a problem processing it. You call Tripres, they tell you that particular hotel could not honor your "request" for only a one night stay. But guess what Tripres can offer you a stay in a sub-standard hotel for around the same cost. Classic bait and switch. It's just like going onto a used car lot, they sold you something but it's not what you wanted. Stay away at all costs!

Worst service I have ever used - rude and unproffesional. Didnt bother to inform that my room was unbooked until I called them 2 days prior to my trip to find out whats going on wioth my resevations. Anyone is better off with other search engines. BEWARE.
