What People Are Saying About Forty Deuce

In Short – Kane brings the same seductive vibe here as the Forty Deuce predecessor in Hollywood. This spin-off inside the new retail mall, Mandalay Place, is a roomy 4,500 square feet and features a low bar, plush lounge chairs and tiered seating. Men and women alike enjoy the old-school striptease routines performed with a three-piece jazz combo in the classy, hip "back-alley" joint. After each show, a DJ keeps the crowd going well into the morning.

Know Before You Go:

Best Nightclub & Burlesque Show in Town!!

by Johnmahoney at Citysearch

I went to Forty Deuce not knowing what to expect but was shocked on how much fun the whole night turned out to be. We went in to check out the place and the decor and ambiance just screamed classy. There were great looking people everywhere so me and a few of my friends decided to stay for the show that started at midnight. We ended up talking to a host there named Moose and he convinced us to get a table and a bottle. The table was raised like stadium seating so when the show started at midnight it was the perfect view. The cocktail waitress was beautiful and her service was impeccable. The dance floor was crowded and people were for sure having fun and it was the best to able to go down and dance and then be able to come back up to the table and sit and relax. When the show came on I was nothing less than shocked. The dancers were just plain gifted doing splits and hanging from the ceiling in what seemed just a great improv dance routine along with a 3 piece band. As well as being some of the best looking dancers I've ever seen. There were two shows and each was about 25 minutes long. We ended up finishing 2 bottles and when we split the bill up between the four of us it was very reasonable priced considering the entertainment and VIP service we got. I recommend this place if you?re looking for a night out where it?s not two crazy but it?s just crazy enough to have a great time. Not many places I've been to where I get the club experience as well get to watch a show to break up the night. If you want to talk to someone more I recommend calling Moose as I already booked another party there early next year. He took care of us all night and pretty much helped make our night. His info from his card: Cell: (702) 686-2672 Email: Moose@fortydeuce. com

  • Pros: Music, Show, Atmosphere, Service
  • Cons: If I had to say anything maybe dance floor was to small.

Amazing dancers, but small club means there's no where to hang out

by Beoncia at Citysearch

While walking through the casino floor at Mandalay Bay, someone from Forty Deuce (he said he was the manager) stopped my group of 4 girls and 3 guys and asked if we wanted to go into the club for free. Most of the people in our group hadn't been to a Burlesque Show, so we went in. Initially, there was a single dancer who was on stage but basically hanging out with the crowd--bringing bachelorettes up to the pole and teaching them tricks--which we thought was pretty cool. She finished her set and another dancer came out after about 15 minutes. She did a similar short set and interacted a little with the crowd. After she left, another 20-30 minutes elapsed and the first dancer came out and completely "wowed" me. Her routine and costume was fantastic! She finished and the second dancer came back out--also a super show! Both of the dancers were so talented, gorgeous and obviously well trained. The band was also amazing, and the DJ played pretty good music when the band was not playing. We left after another 30 minutes elapsed with no entertainment, as the club was getting packed and there was no where to hang out, much less sit down. Two people in our group stayed until much later into the night and said that more dancers came out later. I loved the shows, and I would have rated the club higher if there were places to hang out (and especially sit) and if the times between dancers was shorter. It's worth seeing the girls--they're awesome--but I would have felt differently if we had paid a steep cover charge to get in.

  • Pros: Fantastic dancers, band
  • Cons: No where to hang out or sit, long intermissions

Small Quaint Nightclub

by potbelliedkiln at Citysearch

I like Forty Deauce because it was small and lively and had a different vibe. The show is okay, not great but it breaks up the evening and is something different from the rest.

  • Pros: Not so crowded
  • Cons: not crowded

GREAT show, TOTAL RIPOFF

by millardf at Citysearch

This club is very nice inside, and the show is great. I gave it such a low score because the club charges you $20 cover [not outrageous for the quality of the show] but........THERE IS NOWHERE TO SIT AND VIRTUALLY NOWHERE TO STAND. The bouncer took great pleasure in telling me "there are only four chairs [with no view of the stage] unless you get bottle service. The bottle service menu was an average of about $250 a bottle and you literally cannot get a seat unless you pay for bottle service. I dont even object to the price of the bottle service BUT they should be clear about this before sucking you in at the door. The way this is sprung on the customer is a TOTAL RIPOFF.

  • Pros: Very swanky club.
  • Cons: "Surprise" inability to see the show unless you are standing on a small space or pay huge bottle fees.

If you want to see talent..

by hotkatchina at Citysearch

Go to forty deuce. These girls took control, and the band is AMAZING. Musicians & dancers will really appreciate this show. The dancers are trained, talented and gorgeous, each one has a style completely different that the other.. the sets are improvised. Intermission is a little too long, but there is a DJ and a packed dance floor. Although the crowd is a little too yuppie/frat oriented for the more artistic types, everyone seems to be there for the same reasons.

don't go expecting a nice table or seats unless you plan to pay for bottle service $$$$$.. if so make reservations or you might catch a few seats in the front if you're early. drinks are the usual 10 bucks for something cheap.

  • Pros: dancers
  • Cons: seating
