Editorial Review for Todd's Unique Dining – by Chris Saunders
In Short
Guests are greeted by a tightly-packed dining room of simple wooden tables and comfortable booths beneath decorative archways. An L-shaped, full-service bar with upholstered high-back chairs and a small television set take up one corner of the restaurant. Main courses are led by seared wild sockeye salmon seasoned with tart lemon shallot sauce with a tiny mound of delicate steamed rice, and fork-tender braised short ribs with creamy, jalapeno-dotted mashed potatoes.

We eat at Todd's often, being locals, and have NEVER had a bad meal or experience there. The seafood (my choice) is always fresh and perfect and the meat entrees (my husband's choice) is always succulent and perfectly prepared. We are visited at the table by Todd almost every time we go there, which makes us feel really special. We have always been treated well and had a GREAT meal. Easy to get there, easy to enjoy.
Pros: Parking, Service, Seating, Food, you name it, it's good
Cons: none

I found Todd's from searching the Citysearch website and, even though it was a litle drive from the strip where we were staying, it was well worth it. It was about a 10 minute drive toward Henderson and it resides in a little strip mall and you know that it is a locals place, because otherwise you probably wouldn't know about it. Ashley was our server and offered great advice and suggestions from the menu. We skipped the appetizer as we had a late lunch and expected the portions to be adequate and we were right. My husband had the ahi tuna with mashed potatoes - it was wonderful. I had the kobe skirt steak on fire with chili cheese fries - what a unique combination and it was delicious! The service was excellent! The wine list was very good - I had a couple of unique martinis that were delicious and we had a wonderful dessert. This competes with anything on the strip for much less $$$$. The ambience was charming and quaint, but if we wanted to be impressed with design we would have paid 2 or 3 times as much and dined in one of the overpriced restaurants in the big hotels. It was a nice diversion and worth the little jaunt!
Pros: Excellent service and delicious entrees!
Cons: In a strip mall 10 minutes from the strip.
