Hall and Oates Editorial Review
In Short
This duo began as blue-eyed members of the Philly soul scene and scored success in the '70s with pop numbers "She's Gone" and "Rich Girl." But it was in 1981 that these Top 40 radio titans hit with slick, catchy R&B-influenced rock of "Private Eyes" and "I Can't Go for That (No Can Do)." With the '80s en vogue, the intact duo invigorated by VH1 exposure is touring on 2004's "Our Kind of Soul."
