Editorial Review for Venezia Tower – by Jill Shapiro
The Scene
The Venezia Tower was created with exclusivity in mind. Private high-speed elevators transport guests to the lobby, decorated in glossy Italian-marble floors, colorful fresco-lined vaulted ceilings and large open windows. French doors open up to a spectacular pool garden, replete with manicured trees, Italian-inspired statues and peaceful trickling waterfalls. An attentive staff greets guests upon arrival, while the concierge accommodates every request.
The Details
The 12-story tower includes 1,013 suites, all averaging 700 square feet. The rooms are spacious yet intimate, with sunken living rooms and vaulted ceilings. Decorative mosaics and intricate woodwork adorn the walls in each room. The bedchamber is decorated with draped canopies, and the Italian marble-tiled bathrooms come with robes and imported European soaps. Only guests of the Tower (not the Venetian) may access Venezia's garden and main pool deck.

I may not be big on Venetian, but the Venezia tower is a welcome addition. I might actually pay to stay here again. Nice room furnishings and beautiful private pools from the rest of the resort.

The Venezia at the Venetian is a beautiful luxury hotel with large suites. There are amazing venetian pools that are only accessable by guests at the Venezia, but Venezia guest have access the Venetian pools as well... which have a lot more people, but also has a few very large pools. The hotel is connected directly with a mall, that makes you feel like it is daytime when it is night. Summertime months are too hot to go outside, so if you do go, drink LOTS of water. The casino is excellent. It is much more upscale than many of the casinos in the area. And, there are many fine dining restaurants in the complex as well as some family dining and food court fare... all with the elegance of the Venetian. The Venezia rooms are a far walk from the main entrance, but well worth it. And security is top notch. My mother loved it, and the kids loved it too.
Pros: Feel pampered, exclusive, quiet
