Something has gone wrong. I have been to this location many times and always enjoyed it. Sometimes we would sit in the bar, play video poker, have drinks and dinner. The staff was friendly and we had a lot of fun. NOW - went there last week for dinner and went in to the bar to have a drink and gamble before dinner. We did finally get a drink and then we were totally ignored - everybody seemed glum and not wanting to be there. Maybe they are closing and the staff knows about it but the service was horrible and we went to dinner somewhere else.

Love the food!. We eat here all the time and out of all the Mexican places we went to this is one of the best!

Best Mexican in Las Vegas. I had just given up finding a california mexican restaurant in Las Vegas when a co-worker suggested I try Super Mex. WOW!!! The food was great, the service was friendly and quick. We started with the Special Guacamole. YUMMY!! I had the chile verde pork and my husband had the low carb burrito. Can you imagine that? Low carb menu at a mexican restaurant. We will difinitely make Super Mex a regular choice for dinner. If you are longing for good home style California Mexican then you must check this place out. Happy Eating!! Oh yeah, the prices were low enough that we can take the kids with us next time. See ya at Super Mex.

New Favorite Hangout. Super Mex Cantina on Durango is my new favorite local tavern. The Bartenders are friendly, they go out of their way to make newcomers feel welcome, the other customers join in and you end up feeling like you've been a regular for years. The food is served hot, quick and by thoroughly trained servers. They know the menu and they know how to make you feel special. The management is always on hand to pitch in or just say hello and introduce themselves. They even have a free tequila tasting every now and then. How can you go wrong?

Not authentic. Eaten at both locations, Eastern location is somewhat better, but not by much. Stale atmosphere and food is bland/mediocre at best. Gaming area is dismal with no life.
