In Short – Classic rock spills from the speakers and a young crowd downs brews by the pint, half-yard or goblet. Singles gather round the bar, while groups and families hit tables in the main dining room or on the patio. In addition to your usual pub food, Yard House serves apps that include lobster, crab and artichoke dip, coconut shrimp and lettuce wraps. Beyond that there are pizzas, steaks, seafood and pasta including a penne dish with roasted chicken and sun dried tomatoes. For dessert, try the Draft Beer Float. That's right, it's Young's Chocolate Stout with vanilla ice cream.

The first few times I went to Yardhouse, everything I had was good and the service was top notch.
The last couple of times the food has been definitely lacking and this last time the service was absolutely unacceptable. We were carded at the door and given wrist bands to show we were over 21. Then our waitress carded us again, saying she didn't believe the wrist bands, took the licenses of half our group (the over 40 half) and brought the manager over to lecture us on IDs. When we placed our order the waitress argued with two of our group over the doneness of their burgers. Less than two minutes later she brings another waiter over and says he's going to take care of us. 15 minutes after that the new waiter brings a new girl over and says she's going to be our waitress. When we get our food, the burgers were not what was ordered.
I would not recommend this place anymore, especially not if you plan on doing anything other than stand at the bar and have a beer or two.
- Pros: Good beer selection
- Cons: Service and food quality get worse each time I go
I LOVE THIS PLACE

You definitely need to come an hour earlier than you want to eat if you are going here. It is quite the popular spot, but well worth the wait. They have a huge selection of beer, ale and ciders on tap. The service is excellent and I haven't tried any food there that I don't love. I recommend the lobster/crab/artichoke dip... and for those of you who crave comfort food, there is a very reasonably priced grilled cheese and tomato bisque combo... THE best grilled cheese sandwich I have ever had. Another favorite standby is the Lobster Garlic Noodles... I would also like to note that every time I go there, the crowd is very friendly... Just a nice casual place to go and hang out with your friends. We LOVE it.
- Pros: excellent location
- Cons: busy, so takes some time to get in
