James Beard Award-winning chef Michael Mina's newest restaurant is Seablue, inspired by the bustling ports and marketplaces of the Mediterranean. Fish and shellfish are flown in from around the world daily and prepared in two lively open-show kitchens. The menu features tapas and small plates ideal for family-style sharing; custom-designed salads; innovative seafood entrees and jet-fresh whole fish cooked over a wood-fired grill. The stylish room is filled with sea-centric details, from the walls of stone and water to a dramatic cylindrical tank filled with over 1,000 fish. In Short
Past a cylindrical 1,600-gallon fish tank, painted underwater scenes accent one of the two dining rooms. In the adjacent high-ceilinged area, purple light glows from behind glass wall panels, streaked with streaming water. Chef Michael Mina's menu includes raw yellowtail in a bright orange-and-carrot lime juice, and pillowy, fried lobster corndogs. High-end takes on American desserts include a scrumptious, warm pineapple upside-down cake

My husband really wanted to go to this restaurant. So when I called to make reservations, I was informed that there was a dress code. We really dressed up and looked nice. When we got there, we were told we'd have to wait a few minutes (it wasnt quite 530 and they dont start serving dinner until 530) so we waited nearby. Right after we checked in, this family who were dressed sloppily walks up and says they have reservations for 530. They were seated immediately and we were STILL waiting! Why were they seated before 530 and we had to wait?! Then we were seated next to a family with a screaming baby-oh great! I love ear piercing noises when I want to enjoy a nice meal. The food was mediocre, not great. It certainly wasn't worth $45 per person!

The food is so tasty that you don't want to stop eating. Everytime you take abite you want more and don't want it to end. I like going on week days less crowed unless your into that sort of thing. The prices are high but they are worth it .MGM you got this one right again...
