Editorial Review for Baccarat Bar at the Bellagio – by Amanda Scotese
The Scene
Low walls barely separate this people-watching perch from the chaos of one of Las Vegas' most elegant casinos. Two outward-facing bars enclose the circular lounge, creating an entryway to the high-rollers' area on the other side. The striped and floral patterns of the French-style couches and lounge chairs lend a vintage sophistication, as do the marble-topped tables adorned with potted orchids. Like their well-heeled customers, the cocktail waitresses in business-like uniforms may turn up their noses at more casually dressed patrons.
The Draw
A lively musician on the baby grand plays jazz and classical tunes, often with the accompaniment of an upright bassist. Music may be punctuated by nearby yells of big defeat. An extensive high-end selection of alcohol includes cognacs, single-malt Scotches and Italian cordials. The cool and light Chocolate Nut martini, a Bellagio signature cocktail, sparkles with a clear, gold-tinted layer topping a deep chocolate bottom.

Ended up at this bar around 2 in the morning... bartender was great, super-attentive and fun. Ended up meeting Robbie Williams and a friend of his and hanging out with them until around 6 am. Good time!
