THEhotel is the perfect compliment to our already impressive property. At 43 stories, it rises high above the Las Vegas Strip. Inside, find 1,117 suites with separate living and sleeping areas, hospitable meeting places and swank hotspots all combined to make an airy, cosmopolitan haven for those who appreciate life's finer things.
Complimenting the 21 world-class restaurants at Mandalay Bay, THEhotel also offers the convenience of a 24-hour cafe, a coffee bar, a relaxing lounge, and Mix--a cutting-edge restaurant and lounge high atop THEhotel.
If you're unconcerned with being in the middle of the Strip action, hole up at this luxurious hotel complex and relax. Suites are roomy and posh and there's no casino on the ground floor (which means no plumes of smoke every time you exit the elevator), plus you've got Mandalay's 11-acre pool, new Daylight day club and Light nightclub, and there are more celebrity chef restaurants than you can shake a fork at (from Hubert Keller's Fleur to Michael Mina's Stripsteak).
Nothing special with THE garage entrance – This was not my first neither my last trip to Las Vegas, but definitely the first and the last stay at THE Hotel. Having stayed in Mandalay, Bellagio and Wynn we thought to try THE hotel as it sounded really promising on paper. THE reality - it is a dark, mediocre hotel with a very weird entrance from the garage. There is no other entrance to this hotel, right from the parking lot! Greenish glass used to build this hotel makes you look like you were dead in your room in a daylight. Believe me, it was not b/c of the heavy drinking the night before. Customer service is bad. In order to get message from the receptionist, one have to stand the long line of people checking it, and when asked for room service your coffee ($17.00) arrives lukewarm 20 min later.
If you are thinking to use the spa, make sure you are OK with expensive mediocre services and an attitude from personnel.
There are definitely better hotels in Las Vegas!
I will never stay anywhere else in Vegas – Excellent experience. Staff was very helpful. Since we were there on our honeymoon our room was upgraded to a V suite for free. The view was top notch and there was nothing to complain about. I lost my debit card on the trip and the front desk was very helpful - they called all of the places I visited that day and put me in touch with their security departments. We loved that their was no casino in the hotel, but we did not have go outside to reach 2 casinos. Highly recommend!
Pleasant Surprise at South End of Strip! – I was apprehensive to try this hotel due to its location and some negative reviews about its service. However, those fears were unfounded because I had a wonderful four-night stay. The service was excellent every time, and we were even provided some extras such as an upgraded room upon request. The Bathhouse Spa was clean, comfortable, and professional. The rooms are also clean, well maintained, and the housekeeping staff did a great job during my stay. We even requested extra pillows and were given a choice of type of pillow. The hotel has a hip vibe yet is a pleasantly relaxing contrast to the din of the casino next door. "Views" are limited unless you are on an upper floor facing the Strip, because the Luxor blocks the Strip view of the lower half of this side of the property. The other side faces the desert. That means 3/4 of the hotel doesn't have good views, so be prepared to pony up if that's important to you. The negatives are the locaton and the unglamorous approach through a parking garage. The location is NOT what you want if you love the Central Strip -- you'll spend plenty of time in taxis or on foot getting to where you want to go. However, the taxi line outside The Hotel was quick, and there were taxis on que at all hours (including 5am). This is not always the case next door at Mandalay Bay, where I have stood in line for 15-20 minutes on the weekend for a cab. Also, there is lots to do at Mandalay Bay if you are able to resist the call of the central Strip. Mandalay Place has some mall-ish shopping (It's no Forum Shops for sure), there are 3 spas and a giant pool complex onsite, the casinos at MB and Luxor are both close, and there are tons of lounges and great restaurants. As for the arrival via parking garage -- it is what it is. It lacks the glamour of an arrival at Bellagio or Ceasar's or even the Wynn. It is more like pulling up curbside at the airport. Overall, it was a superior property and I would stay here again.
GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICES – I had the greatest time. the Hotel at Mandalay Bay is great! Wow its blew me out of the water. That all i gotta say. They are a little over price but its worth it if your going to visit las vegas for the first time. People at the front desk can be a little stuck up how high ttheir nose can be and think they some richie people or something. but oh the phone they are are on it and made sure its good.
Great Rooms – The Mandalay Bay is truly a wonderful Vegas getaway, with everything you know and love about Vegas. The rooms were outstanding, the casino is pretty much what you would expect (no low table limits) and the pool area is amazing. It's only downfall is the fact that it is so far down the Strip, it makes for some long walks.
STUNNING!!! – when you walk into your room at thehotel at mandalay bay your jaw will drop to the floor, it is just mind blowing!! the living room has to be 600sf !! two bathrooms , three flat screen tvs one in the bath room so you can sit in your over sized tub and watch tv!! and the decore is sleek and modern , silvers and blacks, it looks like a manhatten luxury apt! and the access to parking is super!!the service super just a all around great place to stay!!
I really like it! – Its classy cosmopolitan, refreshing, relaxing, I like it. I like it. I like it. I like it. I like it. Have nothing more to say.
Very Nice Hotel – THEHotel is beautiful, one of the best places I have ever stayed at.
Any one who complains about this property is someone who is never happy about anything.
Luxury at the very best – This is a high class place with high class view sin a high class town. I have to say I was very impressed and figured this would be a cheap rendition of high quality. Not so, no Hollywood facade here just first class service that I would recommend to anyone
Excellent sleeping – If your looking for the modern high tech stay this is it modern flat screens everywhere you can not leave a area without watching television do not recommend children to stay nothing for them to see or look at
