Fabulous Restaurant – This is one of my favorite restaurants for a special occasion dinner or a nice happy hour with friends. When you first walk in, you are surrounded by some of the most beautiful decor and architecture I've seen in an off-the-strip restaurant. The food is so amazing as well. The chef does an outstanding job of taking typical dishes and adding his flair to make them unique and so yummy. The wine list is supurb as well, and they have a lot of specials throughout the week, sush as half price bottles of wine, happy hour, etc... I highly recommend this restaurant!
Great Atmosphere Awesome Food and the best wine selections in town. Received excellent customer service the staff was friendly and courteous. I highly recommened Sedona for great dinning experience.
The food is so good, it's addictive! – I am literally addicted to the steak gyro--it's not on a pita and doesn't contain lamb like you might get at a Mediterranean restaurant (this is Sedona people, not Paymons). The soft flatbread that they use is incomparable and the perfectly seasoned steak is to die for. I have to eat at Sedona at least once a week (yes, I admit I have been there twice in as many days -- different outfit/hair/make-up you get the picture.) Fortunately, my husband holds a similar affinity for the chicken panini. The bread on the panini is out of this world as is the mozzarella which melts out of the sides. Now I have also had the pleasure of enjoying a great glass of wine with a bowl of guarantee-you-it's-not-Campbell's tomato soup & fondue. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it. As for the service, they are always attentive and parking has never been a problem for us. I love Sedona, I'm writing this because I hope you try it and enjoy it as much as we do!
What Happened? – I used to really like going to this place but I have had nothing but issues there lately. I am shocked at the constent turnover of management. I feel like there's always someone new managing the place which might be a reason for their slow and very poor service. There is a good wine selection, but you can't get any help to order it. The food is ok. It used to be better. The manager said they no longer have an executive chef so that might be why. I would recommend Vitner Grill.
Flirtatious schmoozing and high-class boozing have a home in this geometrical and futuristic space. – In Short
The zigzag roof, slanted walls and futuristic design makes Sedona stand out against the glare of suburbia. Inside, the 10,000 square foot space includes areas with high tables, micro-suede lounge chairs, curvey booths and a patio complete with a glowing fire pit. Starters include potstickers, ahi tuna chips and orange beef or chicken satay. A number of creative salads, flatbreads and sandwiches, such as the corned beef reuben provide the light fare, while entrees include bottleneck clams, duck, cajun pork chops and free-range or organic chicken dishes.
Great Locals Lounge – Sedona is great, it offers the upscale feel and decor of some of the nicest restaurant and lounges that are on the strip but offers a more relaxed and fun atmoshpere. The staff is amazing, they really cater to you and the food is even better. The menu is a bit small, but everything is delicious. This is a great place for a first date, a girls night or after work drinks!
Great PotStickers – Loved the potstickers real good ,the tuna was outstanding, drinks good, service ok good place to hang out with friends
Upscale enviroment, but still a neighborhood bar! – Don't be intimidated by Sedona's contemporary architecture and upscale design! The restaurant/lounge/gaming is a beautiful place where you can get amazing food but my favorite part is that after just a few times playing video poker at the bar, the bartender, Ryan knew me by name! Great gaming specials, great drinks, and in my opinion the best rueben in town! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, especially the cheese fondue. There is a great wine selection and the staff will help you pair any meal with a great wine.
One of my other favorite aspects of the venue is their Image Wednesday and LAB Saturday events. Sedona has hired a DJ for these nights and the restaurant becomes a pretty amazing ultra lounge. I haven't found this in any other place on the West Side.
Check this place out at any hour...you'll love it!
Bring ear plugs – We drove out Flamingo to the 215 beltway where we had Open Table reservations at this very contemporary restaurant. Much of the bar area was taken up by a good sized wedding party and the noise level on this Sunday evening was very high. I chose the fresh Alaskan halibut with chorizo, new potato, zucchini and clams finished in a saffron beurre blanc. My wife ordered the pepper crusted Ahi tuna, served with Provencal vegetable relish, roasted eggplant whipped potatoes and lemon oil. Both entrees were delicious, but her's won this evening?s award for best entree.
prepare to wait – the food was excellent but pricey. the staff was extremely friendly and helpful with not only menu choices but drinks as well. the only down side to this place was that it was quite expensive and it had a small menu with not much to choose from. and we waited a very long time to get our order taken and then had to wait another 30 minutes for the food to cook. the check was finally brought out after another 15 minutes of waiting after the table had been cleared. if the service was a bit more speedy i'd give it 5 stars
