Best fine dining Italian restaurant on the strip!. Fiamma has got to be one of, if not the best, fine dining Italian restaurant I've ever been to! Everything from the ambiance to the expansive wine list was fantastic. The wait staff was very attentive, knowledgeable and always very courteous. But the main focus of the night was definitely the food! I can?t even begin to describe how delicious everything we tasted that night was! We shared the Straccetti and Polipo as antipasti; the Raviolini and Agnolotti as pasta; and the Branzino and Tagliata as entrees. Everything from the Straccetti to the Tagliata was to die for! The flavors all complemented themselves and each other perfectly and the portion sizes were perfect. Bigger than what you would normally expect to get at a fine dining restaurant. All in all I was more than pleased with Fiamma and I will definitely recommend it to anyone who knows good food and expects to get it!
Mediocre Food. My husband and I got a last-minute reservation from our hotel concierge and felt very lucky to be able to dine there last week. The decor is very modern and service was very good. The disappointment is the food ? everything was overly salty: breads, Caesar salad, fried calamari (also slightly overcooked). My parpadelle in Bolognese sauce was over-cooked and mushy. My husband?s rigatoni with ? portion of white truffles didn?t have enough taste of the truffles (may be it was too harsh to compare to the truffles we had in Bologna Italy). To top off the mediocre experience, we had to pay $5 for a soft drink.
The best meal I have had in Vegas. A small group of us went to this restaurant on a weekend jaunt to Vegas, and we were all SO glad we did. We shared several appetizers, a lovely salad, and a bunch of entrees- all were excellent but I was very partial to the short ribs with polenta- couldn't beleive how yummy it was. The wine list was amazing too. My only problem was I was full by the time we got to the desserts. (Not that it stopped me!) All around, a great little place.
Dinner was ok, dessert was AMAZING. So my boyfriend and I still talk about the "Bodino", the most amazing dessert. Dinner was ok, I agree with the other reviewer who stated the portions were small and I thought a little over-priced as well. Tasty though. But the dessert is awesome, especially accompanied by their french pressed coffee. I'll be back on my next trip!
Not the best Italian Food, very expensive food and drinks, officious staff..
First experience, had the pork stuffed pasta, it was extremely tasty, but the portion was so small...not enough. Another friend of mine had the same reaction to the dish. Wait was outrageous, over 1 hour from apps to entrees.
Second, had a server that was selling the premium items to the point of rudeness. I ordered chicken, and it seemed like I was doing something wrong. Not the best experience.
Perfect combination of food, ambiance, and service. Just got back on Oct. 13 and took my wife to Fiamma as our "Italian" dinner night and all I can say is Wow! The service from the start was perfect. We decided to arrive about 30 minutes early and sit in the lounge area by the fireplace and have a couple cocktails. The ambiance, decor, colors, textures, etc. in this restaurant are very well done. Chic but comfortable. The star of the night, as well it should be, was definitely the food. My wife ordered the Papardelle which was about the most fantastic pasta I had ever tasted in my life. The ragu bolognese sauce with this parmegan creama was just simply amazing. I couldn't keep my fork out of her plate. My steak was great as well, but if you go, definitely go for the pasta - it was simply spectacular. The ceasar salad was also fantastic. My wife said it was the best ceasar she had ever had and she knows her ceasar. If you're looking for a great Italian food and want a cool but comfortable atmosphere, you just can't go wrong with this place. Enjoy!
Great Las Vegas Dining. Fiamma is what Las Vegas dining should be. Elegant, Hip, Fun, and just great food overall. The ambiance here is straight out of a James Bond movie. The lighting and astmoshpere are done just right. The service quality here is top notch. Made reservations and was seated right away. All of the foods had excellent plating and service quality. Most of the food portions was enough for two. The one thing I would recommend is getting the Tartoffal for all you chocolate lovers. This is a great spot to come to especially before going to see KA. This is what dining in Las Vegas should be all about.
Excellent dining experience. The overall service was wonderful. The waiter was very attentive and unobtrusive when serving. Highly recommend the tiramisu. I had the penne with bolognese sauce - quite excellent. My dining partner had the ravioli stuffed with flank steak. Very good as well. Make sure you make reservations and dress appropriately. It is definitely not your mom and pop italian restaurant. worth the money.
Warm decor and satisfying Italian fare draw diners to this Italian spot in MGM's Studio Walk..
In Short
With rich, dark wood floors, modern furniture and copper-toned lighting, this massive 7,000-square-foot contemporary Italian-inspired restaurant offers casual diners comfort with a hint of romance. The 300-seat split-level restaurant features a cafe area, cocktail lounge with a fireplace and a private screening room for parties. Handmade pastas include the rich and meaty braised short rib raviolini. The New York strip is well-portioned and dry-aged, which enlivens the lightly charred flavor of the meat.
Great Pasta. Their pasta dishes are wonderful. The salads are top shelf all the way. The service is great. We had reservations and were seated as soon as we arrived at a charming table right out front.
