Editorial Review for Ice House Lounge – by Ryan Slattery

In Short
An after-work favorite for young professionals, this art deco-inspired restaurant is a desert beacon, with a glowing, white stucco exterior bathed in changing hues. Inside, '60s-style furniture is suffused in lime-green light. On the walls, black-and-white photographs of Vegas' Mob days join candid shots of the Rat Pack and Elvis. Some watch sports or trippy late-night videos on the 13 plasma-screen TVs. Others play video poker or chill their drinks on the ice-topped bar.

Depending on your taste... get there early! We got there early, had plenty of parking and an easy table. Early service was excellent and quick, but as the night rolled on our waitress disappeared and we had to fight for a spot at the bar (bartenders were awesome by the way). The food was below average. Later on in the night the trendy relaxed atmosphere turned into an overcrowded nightclub where conversation was impossible. The bathrooms are way too small for the late night crowd and not kept clean at all. So, unless you like the loud and overcrowded - go early for before or after dinner drinks and leave before 10 or 11pm.

Pros: Good drinks

Cons: , Parking
